Indentation of an elastomeric foam with Hyperfoam model in ABAQUS

Hyperfoam model is one of the available built-in model in ABAQUS software for simulating foam materials and similar ones. In this example, a cylindrical specimen of an elastomeric foam, indented by a rough, rigid, hemispherical punch was considered. This problem illustrates a typical application of elastomeric foam materials when used in energy absorption devices. The hyperfoam model is defined using experimental test data.
