Doing miniatures while including sand is super difficult to pull off to make look realistic. Grains of sand are already as small as they’re going to get so when you pile it up in a miniature set, the grains look massive to the eye. You did a good job hiding this with shadows.
the style of your work is truly unique. The realism is impressive and disturbing at the same time. Artistic talent, perfectionism... and PURE CINEMA 🎞👍
Cajun Catastrophe sent me and I'm impressed with your miniature work and cinematography.
Fantastic! The moving shadows of the roof slates made the sand look naturally windblown the way sand dunes are. So impressed by your work.
This miniature is absolutely awesome. I know I say that for every of your videos but this one is the best. Guess until your next upload.
Dizzy Space!
You know with your love of abandon buildings I assume you were a fan of the magazine weird NJ as a kid and its abandon places section. The things ive learned about properly filming miniature sets from you are amazing
Brilliant work ... very inspiring. The lightening is just amazing.
Dude! This light effect looks insane!!! So cool. Also, the latex wall technique is fantastic! Great job!
Wieder ein schönes Video. Was mann alles mit Licht und Schatten bewirken kann einfach wunderbar. 👍🙂
The finished effect is like Stalker meets Hellraiser; very cool.

Dude! Same! As I was looking at it I couldn't help but think of Stalker! The movie, not the game

The cool thing about the Hellraiser vibe is that the guy who created it made some weirdly freaky videos when he was still in school… they’re just films of stark lights moving over a chunk of wood with nails driven into them, there’s no reason they should be as creepy as they are! But there’s something about them, for sure. You can see where he was going with the feeling.

@@toomanymonkeys21 Do you have any more details on those school films? Of all "monsters" in Hellraiser, my favourites are the big-block-of-wood demon, and Leviathan. They are enigmatically and inhumanly horrible. 😲
SUCH a dynamic shot! Wow. All the moving elements playing together really pays off! (Mannn, lens motors for both focus AND zoom is fantastic! I think a Vertigo shot/dolly zoom would be the first thing I'd try. LOL.)
I don't really understand the technical end of the film making part but I can appreciate how talented you are. The dream world you are building is fascinating!
You are so professional in every way, great effects and explanation PLUS the endorsement of your inspector. Thanks for the post!
Astonishing... amazing effect. You ar very creative, Cheers
Oh my, such a moody setting. Such a feeling of loneliness from the passage of time evoked by the shifting shadows on the sand in the ruined, deserted building. Stunning cinematography.
Phenomenal, phenomenal, phenomenal! Just jaw-dropping my friend. I didn't realize that the larger lights would make getting sharp shadows on a small scale difficult, but it makes sense now that I think about it. The slate idea for lighting this is genius, N! Wow.

Thanks man! Trying to get the harsh lighting effect in miniature always makes my setups way more complicated, so this method was a lot of fun for me. I appreciate it!
Wowww!!!! The lighting is spectacularrrrrr!!!!!
I think you’re a brilliant genius Is what I think!!! Seriously cool and awesome!!!! Bravissimo!!!!
So coool!!! Realy like how light looks😍
This reminds me of how the desert is swallowing up the abandoned German colonies and mining outposts in Namibia, very cool
Every video from you blows me away ! No words ... truly incredible my friend !
Awesome.. Excellent job.. All the best from Colorado USA.. 👍😎🇺🇸
got war of the worlds vibes from this, beautiful work as always!

lol i love how the crafsman is one of your patreons!
Perfect timing dude 👌 👏
This is absolutely brilliant, love it!
Wonderful!!!
Dude, you are amazing. And I luv ur cat.
That last shot was EVERYTHING!!!! It's the most amazing combination of dream world and horror film - which happen to be my favorite dreams 🤩 I cannot wait to see what you'll come up with this set up! I have a recollection that this isn't your "day job" - which is weird since you're a pro :D It would be interesting to know if you're working in the same field or something else! And if it's something else, whyyyyyyyyy :D Also, I'm curious about your journey to abandoned miniatures!!!
Great job!
The whole concept reminds me so much to the Backrooms, I love it! Also the shadows created look so good
It would be so cool if you made it into an abandoned zen garden like overgrown and all but still got the patterns in the sand
It would be really cool to do a "timelapse" effect with the stop motion technique of the light of a "sunset" or "sunrise" coming in through an abandoned room's windows
Co Cool! Beautiful!
Amazing 🤩
Magnifique !!! Comme quoi avec un modèle réduit on arrive à un beau résultat
WOW love it!
GREAT SHOW!
Wow, this turned out really really cool! I loved the dolly shot at the very end there, it made me feel like something big was about to happen. These dioramas feel like they're already a story in themselves, but that added touch of dramatic lighting and filming techniques create such a unique feeling. If you made videos of just shots like that I would watch them😍I love watching your process though, seeing the creation process is really cool too.
Amazing job man! Great visuals, what do you do with that later, what do you use it for?
look cool
Reminds me of the Tame Impala album cover
👏👏👏
want tutorials on that moter system :)
what do you do with all of them when you're done?
Ok. This one 😢 had me stumped. Why would an abandoned room in a building have sand all over the floor? And the slats in the roof/ceiling is for what?
Make in 1:6 scale. Please.
