Abandoned Mega Mansion - Indoor Waterslide, Home Theater & more

Ойын-сауық

Way off in the distance of a neighborhood of multimillion dollar mansions, there's a property that is now vacated from all memories it once had. This mansion was constructed by a man who had money , too much he could handle. He created this home and didn't anticipate the electric bill or funds needed to keep up with all the home's needs, and later realized he dug himself into a hole. Not wanting to keep the home he built, he put it on the market where no one was silly enough to purchase it. Later it was used in reality TV shows on such networks like, MTV and HBO. But once those contracts came and went, mold and other decay started to happen and the house was taken off the market. Which leads us to today, exploring what is left in this once grand mansion suited for a king and queen. If you enjoy leave a thumbs up and subscribe for more exploring content.

Considering the lack of vandalism, I doubt this place was ever fully "abandoned". Someone has to be keeping tabs on it, probably a realtor.

Yea I mean unless this was just recently abandoned like real recent no way would it be in this good of shape. It’s pristine. Or someone is taking care of the home still. Grounds keeper maybe. There’s not a chance this beautiful home is completely abandoned and unwanted.

the author does like to from scratch, shaping and trimming wood from large blocks into fine finished products. kzread.infoUgkxD-QRFQz730FJEh4f9BYSf-nkIMIC9hL_ as another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us dont have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we wont be able to practice the full stack project, is still great.

Reminds me of all those lottery winners who buy a huge house, atv's, cars, toys, etc and at the end of it all can't pay the bills to keep the lights on or put gas in the fuel tank. Another classic case of living outside your means. Great video!

You have to wonder what what wrong. It hurts to see the island in the kitchen and imagine there was a time this home was filled with family and love. But the excessiveness is ridiculous. Those amazing amenties would lose their "cool" factor real quick. How often do you think that basketball court was used? But, back to my point, there was a time where it brought a family great joy. Sad

It feels oddly eerie going through the house -- frozen in time and frozen wishes/dreams along with it. The amenities inside this house is atypical of how the new millionaire builds their "ideal" house. It takes a good bit of financial acumen to manage and maintain a property this size and, if the original owner who built this did intend it for his children, most kids when they become adults would rather live with their OWN immediate family than have all the siblings & in-laws under one roof in compound. This house definitely confirms/affirms my feelings or thoughts of living in a mega mansion. Thanks for sharing.

America had a huge lead, and it was squandered, by rich over entitled jerks. I am not talking about just a few million in the bank. Mark my words. The first company that successfully mines outer space, will rule this world. America had all this wealth and just got lazy. The reason we have a genius visa, is that the government gave up on it's people, and didn't educate properly. America is a throw away society, in that they trash their people, and throw them away. I have seen this. The owner of the company, I used to work for, had their kids start at the bottom, so they became better people in the end. That is rare, and I don't see that often, but what I do see, is people that didn't earn their position, and blow daddy's fortune, being jerks in the process, with nothing to build of from. History is never learned properly by people on the top. That's why history repeats itself. Look up Einstein's definition of insanity. If rich people want to rule the world, then they better learn to lead with a positive outcome, or it's just a waste of time.

@@NobodysAngel81 Makes sense. The article I read that said it was for sale was from October 2020. I couldn't find any sold listing. That said, I didn't know the address. I just typed in "Abandoned mansion, Andover MA" in a google search. Now that I know the address, I see on Zillow that it was sold on Christmas Eve, 2020. The original owners were trying to sell it for a long time. There's probably going to be a lot of fixing up needed. Hopefully it can be a beautiful home again.

@@sunlightangel87 The customer I picked up there was actually one of the people in charge of fixing up the place and that was in November/December 2018 or maybe Spring 2019. I think she was a real estate agent, but she was also fixing it up. I think she was a house flipper. When I picked her up there, it was a mess. Weeds were all over the driveway/garage etc. It needed a lot of work and the crew probably worked around the clock to make it sale worthy. I didn't really get a good look inside because there were security cameras. There is a security guard house at the beginning of the driveway. It's in such a weird spot. You go up this hill, and it's on the right. You can't see the house from the street because it's surrounded by so many trees. Andover is a rich town. Lots of mansions of all sizes.

This is a nouveau rich person. Old money doesn’t live in homes like this. It’s a guy wanting to live out a fantasy, and he either didn’t do his research or he ignored it. I would bet it’s a lottery winner.
