Id clean them, replace any broken parts, recharge freon if needed, and run them for several days to mske sure they are in top working order before selling them. I would of tried flipping some of the circuit breakers back on to see if the lights and what not would come on. Would be cool, but id turn them all back off before i left. I did that with a few abandoned burger ki gs i was able to get in. I had to throw the main on first. Way to tell if power is coming to the building is look for the electric power meter, usually mounted on back side of the building, or on the pad mount power transformer which is that big green box you see behind the building or at the end of parking lot. I thought it was a great find. I honestly thought it was going it be empty but when I went in I could believe all that they left behind. Is that common practice when one McDonald’s closes and they open a new one?

@@KingOfExploring oh it definitely was a good find. Usually when a store closes they take everything out so something was happening at the time or just a money issue. Notice how they took the most expensive things like the walk in freezer

I was shocked to still see all of the 1990s decor still intact. It was also weird seeing all of the equipment just left like that.
I am just starting out exploring. I only really got lucky as far as entry points, since you gotta find those yourself obviously. There seems to be a trick to 'cracking' these boarded up fast food places I am still trying to figure it out. XD

A lot of that exact equipment is used in McDonald's today. Def not from the 80s. Late 90s early 00s. This coming from someone who managed McDonald's for over a decade

Thats crazy that you still had a 2007 ice cream machine but I guess thats prob why it was always broken. I have a friend who is a manager and she said the new machines are made in Italy.
2024 will mark 17 years since they served their last french fries looks all original from the 80 its hard to believe they close it and left everything in the kitchen left untouched for years the only thing taken out was the old menu board's that once hung behind the front counter
You have earned a sub from me lol excellent content

Hi Vulcan! I agree with you but a McDonald's cooperate expert saw my video on a Newsweek article and claimed that the decor was from the 1980's. I live right near this McDonald's and I would also say that it was 1990's as I'm almost positive that it was remodeled once when the playground was removed. So you're not wrong.
