When we die we take nothing with us. Anything that you haven't used in 2 years get rid of it. If there were some catastrophic occurrence & we lost everything, but what we were wearing, what would you do? And I mean nothing, no money, cell phone, car, no job, nothing at all, not even a place to live, what would you do? Well ? No stealing either! 🤔🤔🤔

I like that you take the time to show things that interest so many, which show the passage of time. Also, how you close up the windows and doors to preserve the home as it should be. Just because you found them open, doesn't mean it should stay that way. You're preserving history. Thank you!

Out of all the abandoned home videos I've watched this house has to be one of my favorites, definitely top 5. It felt so calm and peaceful to me. I feel as the marbles and cold you felt was the lady of the manor protecting her home, she was just letting you know you were being watched.

Hi Dave, this home is so beautiful and so clean even though it's abandoned it looks as if you could move in and just clean it up a bit. The furniture is so beautiful it's a shame it was left behind. As for the marbles rolling around I think the previous owner was just letting you know she was still there watching over the place. Did you forget to explore the basement? You should definitely do an over night here and next time check the basement out.

I would love to see you do a overnight here, you're not a paranormal investigator, and that's exactly why or what anything you caught would be really exciting as far as investigating goes.. sometimes paranormal investigators get to caught up in what they're doing and try to force evidence, I would say yours would be rather neutral, and would be way more fun.

As a paranormal enthusiast I couldn't help but wonder if there was a shape of a woman dressed in a long black 1900s skirt in the hallway in front of you at about 20:18 to 20:29 right as you picked up the marble and then panned away. Fascinating and sad...this place holds so much stuff and memories!

A beautiful house. Love those big rooms, the murals painted on the wall's, the built in cupboards and shelves. I believe the woman's spirit remains in the home, being she died there. The marble being rolled in the hallway, the cold spots and the light swinging, she was letting you know she is watching you.

That house is just absolutely beautiful, huge rooms, it's sad that they won't refurbish it, but I guess a death in the house doesn't make it feel very good! Those stairs to the attic are really narrow and steep steps, I don't think going up those steps would be easy when you are putting furniture up in the attic. I really wish that there was a "before" picture on what the house and the grounds looked like.

For those who are paranormal enthusiasts, from 45:02 if you click forward slowly two faces seem to appear in the top floor window 2nd one in on the right of screen. When Dave pans back they're gone. Look carefully, they are hard to spot.

Judt seen your video. Im quite sceptical myself but at 20:36 - 20:40 it looks like someone is standing in the hallway watching you pick up the marble. Think at that point Rod is down stairs. What's weird though. At like 32:00 mins when you head that way, there's nothing in the hall. It looks like legs of a woman in a skirt.

Hi Dave, was another Great Video, & yes so many things inside were so Beautiful, it`s a shame someone doesn`t buy it & restore what ceilings are damaged & some floors need fixing! The roof in the attic show no broken wood! You forgot to show us the basement? It was strange about the cold hallway & the marble you could of kicked without realizing it. I Love the stairway & the crystal chandeliers there were 5 of them! Thanks for shutting the doors so no birds fly in & can`t find their way out, plus no rain will come in & destroy everything inside! Have a wonderful Sunday, take care & stay safe!! Love from Rantoul, Illinois USA

I would say about 70 to 80 percent of furniture has been removed. Perhaps to use or to make a profit online. I don't blame them if I could make a few pounds here and there. If I owned that mansion I would never leave it I would turn a couple of rooms into a giant food pantry. Have enough food I would only need to go into the shop twice a year. Thank you for the interesting video.

I got the feeling that this place isn't exactly "abandoned". There was a live plant in the first big room you explored at 5:06. It looked like it hadn't been watered recently, but the top is still green and alive. This wouldn't be possible if it hadn't been watered in the past four years. I also noticed that the shrubs had been trimmed fairly recently. There is the pair of shaped shrubs seen throughout the video. One of those places is 42:54. They are growing out a bit, but have definitely been shaped recently. There is also the tall shrubs at the left of the frame at 45:49. They are very smooth and flat, again a definite sign that they had been trimmed recently. The decay I saw, both inside and out looked to be due to neglect. As she got older, it was probably harder for her to keep up with repairs. As huge as that place is she probably closed off most of it, heating only the rooms she was using. The unregulated conditions in the room she wasn't using would have contributed to the cracked plaster of the ceiling and walls. Considering that both the water and electricity are still on, it would seem that somebody is still paying the bills. How did you find out about this place? Are you certain it's abandoned? It seemed more like a property in probate to me.
