Abandoned HOUSE w/ Strange Things Left Behind
This place was built in the late 1800s originally as a train station for the Maryland and Pennsylvania railroad. In the 50s when the railroad started to go under, it was turned into a living quarters/ house. Some aspects of the train station remain like the big wrap around porch, which would've had benches and had no railings around the side but have since been changed. This places appears to have been abandoned for atleast the last 10 years sadly and is in rough condition! Vandals and decay have taken there toll.
I DO NOT STEAL OR VANDALIZE, I only take pictures and video and only go in if it's already open , I do not give out locations to prevent further vandalism to these historic places! Always get permission if possible!
Thanks for watching everyone. Hope you enjoy it! Make sure to like and sub if you haven't already so you know when my next videos out, Thanks!!!(:

Enjoyed! Such a sad loss of history for this place to be left to rot! Take care and travel safely!
Such a shame that people break in and destroy property. I love historical buildings. You can have never ending thoughts about the previous family when walking around inside
still an amazing old place, lot's of history there. To bad someone couldn't have kept up with the roof. Excellent video!

great job the old gray shingles on the outside of this place reminded me of my great grandparents house, probably built around the same time, keep up the good work!
And yet another most excellent video Kappy!
That place is just a series of booby traps now! Loved those little decorative brooms hanging in the kitchen, remember my family having those as a child!

Nice info, kappy. I've driven by this house regularly for about 18 years when I lived in the area and never knew anything about it. Looks like I've seen the best part of the place from the comfort of my car lol

Thank goodness you didn't get hurt in that rotted out old place. Thanks fro showing but stay safe.
Sorry you had a bad day we all have them sometimes. That place trashed. Tell me is there any that haven’t been trashed by vandals! So sad.
This house tour was very interesting I enjoyed how old the house was. Also I loved looking around as well a lot of the rooms were rotting apart which was ashame. I enjoyed hearing at the start the history of the house too. The bones 🦴 at the end of the video were creepy. Another cool Explore 🤗🙋♂️
You are doing a great job
great little explore mate
wow I thought for a second you would tumble trough the floor there :) glad you didn't. Looks like it was made in to a 2 familie home at one point. To bad it was a nice big house :)

Dang that was a rough place!
I love it!! Great video. You would think, with it having history, the town/county would want to fix it up, maybe make it into a little museum, charge a buck or two a head & eventually it would pay off, what a waste. but at least you captured it before it's gone.

+tamara walker Thank you very much!! The owners of the place actually wanted to tear it all down and put up new houses but since its listed on the national register of historic places they couldn't, so now they are just allowing it to decay until the only option is to tear it all down! It's really a shame !!

At least we had a little history of the place. Sometimes when video's are made there is no history to go with the video.
awesome video left you like 231 Take care Jimmy
That's a damn shame that house was and should be in better shape. They built them to be tough. Gravity is such a waste of time for kids who have NO RESPECT!!!!!
Mto 10 seu video, obrigada.
There's loads of abandoned buildings where I live in uk 🇬🇧 but nothing like that that's creepy that house
Wow this place must of been pretty at one time especially before the vandals came through . Still looked though at this time the place could still of been salvaged for one to two hundred thousand. It is sad what happens to these old beauties . I was more noticing about your language then I was about how much you where talking . You have come far from this time Kappy .
As one poster said " Maybe you should have someone with you '. This one didn't look too safe , you never know when things decide to fall down ... Looked like a fairly new glass patio table w / chairs in the kitchen part . Seemed out of place in the rubble lol
Nature is claiming this historical house. Such a waste. Thanks for sharing.
When I moved into a former railroad station it made me cuss and swear too. But mostly I used the F word. Now my therapy team uses cuss words too. 👌🏻 Thanks Kappy!
It would cost close to two hundred thousand to modernize and restore but might be worth it being a historical place. I like the talking it keeps me informed about the place.
This looks lovely from the outside. Inside - not any more. Good old vandals and graffiti artists as usual. They never come up with new things to write. They obviously have a very limited vocabulary. I don’t think this place can be restored anymore. Thanks for the tour!
Dude this is so COOL. Someone told me that you lived in MD. We should meet up!

LOL 'graffiti people man'
the first ever abandoned place i found was in the woods near my old house i was walking and found a building sitting in the woods the walls had callapsed and i went in it and found allot of old cassete tapes
too far gone to save that one
Looks a bit like it was made into 2 little houses. Someone left their fan collection in the first one.
Would love to repair this for a place to once be a home once again for someone.

Why is there so much feces all over the floors and stairs??
I wish they would catch those graffiti people
Can u use a different expletive! Please..... Holy cow ....my goodness ..... Get creative
Please, Kappy, that's *"railROAD"* if you please. Please!!!! Americans have gotten into some regrettable habits regarding railroad nomenclature; it's rail-this and rail-that, plus so many now refer to everything that rolls on tracks as a "train." Everything, be it locomotive, passenger car, freight car, whatever, it's a "train." (I was born and raised within s block or less of a very large railroad system, loved trains since I was old enough to walk, and I cringed when I looked up the Disneyland live steam locomotives and heard the "expert," docent, tour guide say they ran each "train," meaning steam locomotive, into the engine house shop every night. I love the things you've done on the Maryland & Pennsylvania, affectionately known as the "Ma & Pa," so I can't be angry with you---maybe just informative? Thanks again for your great videos. BTW, the Ma & Pa was an easygoing railroad, very practical, so most of its stations were dual purpose, including gas station, feed store, etc., under the same roof as the station function. This looked like it might've been converted into a 2-family dwelling after it was no longer in use.
wow
I hope you were wearing a dust mask!! Looks nasty, all the rat shit and who knows what!! Cool video!!
Its terrible to see what destructivness some display. Its a learned behaviour, bad parenting.

JESUS! The place was destroyed. Bet it was so nice back in the day
Is it just the lead paint that peels like that or do all paints peel when they get very old? I just don't understand why people have to graffiti there way through every room. I know a lot of people say it and I know I have criticized you in the past but please refrain from saying our Lord's name in vain. Yep, that house is a mess but I do love that wrap-a-round porch!
Can I have one more Jesus?
@urbanexploringwithkappy1773

Steven Richards Have as many as you like! 😄
You keep saying "Jesus". Remember that people who come in and explore will stage rooms and items. An "untouched" house that deteriorates over time will just have the paint peel and dust gather and such. Good video though. Enjoyed it.
