WALLIE! I don't know what happened, my man. I used to watch a lot of your videos between 2018 till about 2021, but then got real busy with my career and own personal life. I noticed the last few videos from late last year to this one, I could hear you've been trying to keep it together. First and foremost: Don't worry about what people think about your videos. Those of us who follow you, got your bck. I personally enjoy the railfanning videos more, but you're a great--in fact, FANTASTIC cmentator, so ANY video you do is enjoyable. The Hardee's was in it's own building and the burger and fries I had were really good.

My 1st job at 14 was at a Hardee's. I made biscuits from scratch. Its got a special place in my heart. We have 3 of them in my town but only 1 is any good to go to. Thanks!

Wow That's Places in Hopping around in Hardee's Location.

Good memories. I grew up on L Avenue right around the corner, and my best friend lived at the end of K that dead ends behind the McDonalds. Rode bikes to the McD when it was just a walk-up place and the only restaurant there, and remember going across the street to BK when it first opened to compete. The vacuum place across from McD opened as a Chappy's (or was it Cedric's?) and that Arby's was one of the first and has been there ever since. If you go down Knox Abbott towards Columbia you will find a locksmith in a hexagonal umbrella shaped building- that was the original Hardee's.

5:24 - I couldn’t help but do a little Google Maps digging. Looking at Street View history, it was still open as of December 2018. Closed as of September 2019. Not pandemic related, anyway!

Many Hardee's locations closed across Ohio here in the early 2000s for whatever reason. It wasn't until recently in the past few years that they have made a slow return, albeit in the boring shoebox style. When I saw they built a new one in the same township I first had them, I was estatic! Lol I only waited like 16 years!

If you're ever in or near Jacksonville, FL, we have an abandoned building that used to be a Smokey Bones restaurant and it has been empty since 2008. I used to eat there a lot when I was a kid

Back in the day and I remember when Hardee's had Orange on the front of the restaurants. The Orange Hardee's closed permanently years ago. The former Orange Hardee's is now a Laundromat. The Hardee's that are Red Restaurants have been closing restaurants permanently in the Detroit area. And for the Old School Burger King Building is now Title Max was a Old School Burger King.

Oh yeah! That TitleMax definitely looks like a Burger King to me! In fact, it looks kinda similar to our local Burger King, except the solarium was front and center and acted as an entrance, instead of being off to the side like the TitleMax. Of course, that Burger King is now one of those stupid shoebox stores, but I'll always remember that solarium!

it's boarded up but we had a Hardee's, as far as I know there isn't another one in the same area, but they didn't even try with this one. It was almost like they no sooner opened it, then it up and closed

I miss Hardee's. Had one in the town I lived in 13yrs ago that everyday a different combo meal went on sale for only $5... I would always go in and get the Bacon Cheese Burger Fully Loaded Combo and then pay the extra $1 to Basically Super Size it... Where I live now, the Closest one is a 30 minute drive and No Deals to be had and the Same Meal now costs $10.

I use to like Hardees. Frisco burger is the bomb and I love the curly fries. We have a couple still operating in Fargo but the quality isn't the best. Always hit and miss which is a damn shame

Trivia: Hardee's and Carl Jrs. combined company own the rights to the former #3 fast food joint "Burger Chef."
