All the Hardee’s in Kansas shut down abruptly last week. The news channels couldn’t even find anything out. People came to work and they were told that they were closed. Happened in Wichita and Topeka Kansas.

I love the new intro. Yeah I wish I could get the Hardee's more often but the nearest one is in my hometown of Ottawa Illinois 40 Mi away. Such a shame how a building to get beat up in only 3 years. Great video hang in there you are awesome

I used to live on that side of town over 30 years ago. Hardee's was around back then. I worked at the former Toys R Us, as well as Columbia Place Mall, when Bally's Aladdin's Castle was one of the tenants. All those buildings were very nice back in the day and I have a lot of good memories from those times durings the 80s and 90s.

I don't think things are coming back there to be honest. It's weird because around Columbia its growing but in Columbia, a lot seems to be closing and rentals are either expensive or not available to anyone new.

Moonbeam sucks, but honestly, there is sooooo much retail in Columbia. There’s strip malls of every size all around the city, it’s crazy. Most of them are really run down, but every time I am in Columbia I see stores I never noticed before no matter how many times I have passed by…

Good thing about our state is we don't let a whole lot of places sit and rot we reopen or repurpose most of out places!💗 we even still have successful malls that get very good sales!

There's been things abandoned for a long time. It's going to be the next Detroit . Maybe Lake Charles LA

I worked for a Hardee's back in 2010 or so. It was a newer location, but it only lasted a few years. They ended up moving across town to what used to be an old Hardee's from the 80s and 90s. It kinda came full circle. Still open last I checked.

No thickburgers here. I used to have a Hardee’s where I lived near Wilkes Barre, PA. It closed around the same time as this one did. It was sadly demolished a month ago and a Sheetz is currently being built on the new property.

By here is an abandoned Circuit City behind the mall. Did you film that?

The back looks just like the one where I grew up that was built in the '80s and the remodeled. There's a chance that this one is pushing 40 years old. Hardee's is notorious for not repairing anything, so that'd explain the roof falling in.

I think you're right, it looks like a renovated 80's one. Maybe, but doubtful, early-90's, but I don't think too many of those prototypes were still being built by that point, most of them were in the 80's.

From where I live at in pa there's no hardees in southeast pa or Lancaster but if I go an hour west to York pa or tword Harrisburg pa they have hardees out in that area or if I go about an hour or so south down tword dover Delaware they have hardees down in that area going down tword ocean city Maryland to

I have a feeling interesting people pass through Columbia, but many of them don't stay.. I think the Columbia place mall is a rather charming place, I tend to hate crowds so I like it over there more but would I live in the area at this point in time? No. I stayed at that Magnuson hotel before across from that abandoned Hardee's and it was quite the experience.

Hey wallieb26 there is an abandoned restaurant in Athens Tennessee and it's was one of your favorite places it's a Shoney's restaurant that got shut down by the health department because it had rats in-between the walls of the cooler and the owner care about the place

He sent it out to get a LS6.0 engine swap. Full custom retro overhaul. Will be pushing around 500rwhp, swapping to rear wheel I’m guessing he’ll have a minimum of 30k in this set up. Can’t wait for the video to come out!!!

Hardees Chardees ariva fartees LOL. I've never eaten at Hardee's, but I have eaten at Carls Jr, including one that used to be a Hardees. Not bad for fast food. NOT SURE if this is true, but I've gotten the vibe they have different food choices at Hardees compared to Carls JR. PS My Chick Fil A (and most chick fil a's I've seen) use those rotating menu boards in the drive thru!

Hardee's was so, sooooo much better before the Carl's Jr merger. Once they became the same company, the quality went downhill.

Moonbeam? Uh, rap culture killed it off and this area of town along with crime. It's unreal. There has been nothing of significance at Columbia Mall in decades...as in at least two at this point.
