Abandoned Doc Os Restaurant Demolition Massillon Ohio Lil B

Ойын-сауық

Today I visited the demolition site of the former Doc O's Family Restaurant in Massillon Ohio. Built in 1970, this location was also known as Lil B's, Sammy's, and Diamond Bill's, as well as many others.

That Nate Guy On KZread I recommend it. I love your videos. There is a loud house DVD out. That opening theme to every episode will get in your head, but I haven't seen the full series yet, but you should check it out.

That was originally a Mr. Steak that it was built as in the 1970's. Then it was the Palace and Then Doc O's.

That feeling you talk about is something I get when I watch your videos. I don’t go back to Massillon often, so your videos bring the flood of memories back.

Hahaha! I used to go through the Massillon sewer pipes, that started behind my elementary school(LJ Smith). We would go all the way up to what used to be Clarkins Department Store, but is now Target. One of my friends that would go with me, is Eddie McClintock, who had the "Warehouse 13" show and was on numerous other shows. Now he's on "Shooter". Fun memories.

I remember it some in the 70s then it was Diamond Bills, it had such a city vibe a décor feel an almost Vegas vibe, and Those diamond window panes !! made it what It was somehow classier and Good window watching , that the "Overcast Partly Cloudy" drear was ambiance.. We still talk about the shine of Lincoln Way main drag thru Massillon in the Christmas street lighting .. yup , people shopped downtown for Christmas at Penny's.. a two level store ; no 3 iforget. There was the United and D&K across street, both felt inside like they were in NYC yet were discount stores: United was a clothing and shoes sort whereas D&K was a bin kindv dollar store aka early Dollar Tree could say. ..I remember a lady that worked at one that reminded me of Heromine Gingold [an older 60s British actress] .. I always think of Massillon when I hear the "Downtown" song by Petulia Clark , I bet others relate of back then ,later 60s early 70s.. My grtG and grandfather both were walk postmen and told about restaurants.. I hated my old dentist there, Dr Dodson, ya back then dentists only washed hands no gloves and well.. he used Dial !!L!! uugh!! Anybody remember his creepy stairway up in that building! So much of Massillon is GONE these recent years from Kmart a large landmark to this to high school where took SAT to Fishers to the Hospital ?? and its so much so its hard to expect to know the kind of town/was a small / was a city ! WOW!! / Well, New and Starting Again/Over IS GOOD!! Go Browns!, Cavs, And Indians!! Not everywhere HAS ALL 3!!/SO KEEP ON!!;) What do you get from Amazon?/ its what they get rid of and you gave up $hipping to them as they gave only a hassle!/ its everywhere the problem, and It likely isn't any one fault because am very certain if didn't have to wait to fix something and pay extra to get it from Amagone We Wouldn't!! Inventories in stores just got highjacked as well as this weird bad lax business management method forced everywhere on everyone.. ? WTH is going on , Why Can't people run independent stores with their own choosing inventory !? Emporiums are how we started and how re-starting with history repeating can solve bad economies. Turn backs on the limiting warehouse lifestyle and get small businesses cooperating with customers because AmaNOT IS No Advantage AmaWrong!

Did the same shit went through rainwater pipes like that aka the sewer lol. Bought smokes form a cig meachine in a bar and grill. Plug the quarters in fast as you can pull the handle for one. Try and get something decent but sometimes you was rushing and ended up with something like you did

There is a sewer type line that collects runoff from the hill to the creek in my hometown. my best friend and I used to explore through it and hang out in the creek it emptied into. It's been probably 20 years since I've gone through it but after watching this video, I wouldn't mind trying to go through it for old time sakes. Especially since my friend passed away 10 years ago. Also, Nate, I sent you a youtube message a few weeks ago. Was just hoping you were able to read it and reply back. Thanks man! I added you to my featured channels and was just wondering if you'd like to subscribe to my channel. You inspired me to film abandoned places!
