Birth father accepted with open arms Benjamin: found his birth father who accepted him with open arms. Found someone who might’ve been his mother and spoke on the phone with her only for her to get hostile and tell him to never contact her again. the birth father had a one night stand with the mother and never knew that Benjamin existed

I still have never met him but about a year ago I found him and contacted him, it was an overwhelming experience. On a side note, it would be in your best interest to get accurate family medical history. It may come in very handy for you, or for your children if you have any.

I can not believe that CeCe person actually said that! "I wonder how long she even stayed with you". Seriously? That sentence alone can cause so much bad feelings. Like... think of what you say 🤦🏻‍♀️. Good thing the other nurse (?) lady was there, to say something reassuring: about how it was a good thing, her mother did good by leaving her in hospital instead of abandoning somewhere.

Not a foundling but adopted as an infant Dec.11th 1958 birthday. I have no clue about my ethnicity .and so much more. Adopted in Va. IT was a CLOSED adoption. My adopted parents didn't want me to know BUT i found out and especially my mom did NOT want to talk about it. I had a dna test. Said i was 100% European. Every avenue i pursued cost more than i could pay. At 63 i wonder IF any of the million questions i have will be answered.

Well there is a need to find out where you came from in order to move forward with your life but at the same time if someone abandon you, you want to know why for closure. But your question is a valid one which I agree with. Its an individual thing in the end, you and I would move on with our lives but others want to know.

James McDonnell I’m adopted. My mother died while giving birth to me. I was premature and she had complications and did not survive. My father could not take care of me , extremely poor. He asked that I be adopted to s family that could give me a better life. I feel no hatred for this man. He wanted the best for me. I was very lucky to be giving a chance for a better live. Never judge , we all carry our cross in life . Also thank God for this man, my mother lost three babies. So God had a plan for us all. ❤️🙏

Benita Steffan they must not have done a very good job if you don't understand that everyone judges everything and there's nothing wrong with that. And really maybe he should have stopped impregnating your mom if he couldn't afford the child, I mean seriously they tried 3 times before you? Or is the one who lost 3 your adoptive mom? Besides all that, I'm not saying to hate anyone. I was raised by a single teen mom (clearly not a very wealthy upbringing but I must admit my grandmother helped a lot, and she does have money she earned by working 50+ hours most weeks, 6 days a week, and most holidays) yet I don't hate my bitch ass father for running off before I was born. It's more of a negative indifference. And you still have not presented any reason to care about your real parents. Sure it's nice to know your mom didn't willingly give you up and that your dad had the "best intentions" but your life would be no different never knowing that.
