Great find with a great story behind it. Remember when you find a tank style toilet, lift the tank lid off. You should see molded in the back wall of the tank a date that it was made. If it is an original bathroom fixture, you can guess the house build date. I'm guessing a possible 1890s house build date. I see the steam heating radiators thru out the rooms. Well done, for a quick walk thru.

Wow! That 911sc was surprising to see just sitting there like that. It was made from 78-83. This one is an 82 or 83 based on signals, trim, color and wheels. There was recently an 83 non-running 911sc on Bring-a-Trailer recently that sold for $43,000. There is currently one on BaT identical to this at 120,000 miles at $28,000 with 5 days left on the auction. It is not uncommon for 911SCs to fetch over $100,000 What a find!!!!

That Mini poster is from States, it has dollar price on it. And looks like they sold it as Austin and Morris there, probably with slightly different trim and price. I doubt Mini was that big of a success at states, at least if you compare it to Beetle. After the war British sport cars were popular though, US itself didn´t make such small sporty cars, and there were lots of US soldiers at Europe after the war, who has gotten familiar with these type of sporty smaller British cars.

House is in Connecticut. He inherited the house from his dad after he died. He took a loan out on the the house to buy a couple of things ..house is in foreclosure. He had a girlfriend wasnt married. Read she is fighting for the house. I live in CT myself..

It wouldn't have been that long ago. I have one of those pictures frames on the mantle. TJmax and Homegoods carried them only a few years ago.
