When I was a youngster in the 80s my parents took me to this exact place 100s of times. Brings back great memories! Sad place now 😢 but if you were living in Flint back then , everyone worked for GM! Almost 100,000ppl. Back then life there was the best! Thanks guys!

1:40 that looks like a temporary roof that was put up to keep the weather out of where the original roof collapsed. Interesting that anyone cared enough to do that. Enjoying your exploration!

That store is not Mt Morris. It's actually Beecher. Do you remember Packers meat market that was on the corner of Morris Hill and Saginaw?

I used to shop at the Montclair California Kmart with my family, before it closed in 1995. I remember the interior was very old looking, almost like it was built in the 60s and never updated. We then moved to Apple Valley California and I made that Kmart a regular habit as a teen because I didn’t like being around a lot of people. It had a Kcafe with little caesars pizza until 1997, then used the space for random stuff afterwards until it closed in 2018. I worked at the Kcafe in the Oceanside store from 2006-2010, where I realized just how badly they neglected their stores. I wanted out, and the water heater was literally dying to escape. It drowned itself in 2007. Kmart sure died.

This location was probably closed during the mid 90s somewhere around 1997 because this location had a little caesar’s

Wow I'm sure surprised that it's still stands there and not be torn down for improving development on that property lot. Very sad commentary I must say.
