Nick talking about Rodger's "decline" over the last 4 years is an over-exaggeration. 2 MVP's and faced faced elite defences (Bucs & 9ers). There's a reason why they say defence wins championships. Aaron's last year with the Pack wasn't his best, but it was still better than half the QB's in the league and most definitely better than Zack's with a broken thumb in his throwing hand. If Rodgers was on that Jet's team last year they definitely making the playoffs, not saying they'd win the whole thing, but definitely deeper than with Wilson under center.

I wonder if the Jets really believe Aaron could take them to a title game in his first year, considering his play last year for the Packers, also, they know their offensive line isn't the greatest, more so not for an older quarterback. Let's hope Aaron doesn't change his mind last minute or something if he comes out and says he wants to play next season but, in the end, he retires, and the Jets are left holding the bag to have to scrabble to get a quarterback, which wouldn't be an issue if one of their quarterbacks now can take a leap forward.

Best way to control the line of scrimmage with an elite defense on the other side? A running game. The Jets have a rising star in Breece Hall and a All-Pro runner in Dalvin Cook. He played HERO ball one to many times. 3 step drop = get the ball out on the 3rd step and he could not do it.... Had to play hero and look around per the usual over the last several years.

Sadly I don’t think Aaron will ever return. I tore my right ACL twice, once playing football when I was 12 and again playing basketball when I was 16. It’s hard to come back from but my senior year of high school I tore my Achilles and that was it for me, there was no return. It took me 2 years of rehab and slowly working on myself before I trusted my achilles to do anything let alone play sports and I was young. Rodgers is up there in age, he’s extremely intelligent, we are going on numerous consecutive years of him flirting with the idea of retirement sadly I just don’t think in his eyes the pros will outweigh the cons post surgery when he realizes how heard it actually is
