Love how the group have all finally fully-embraced pads and helmet! Only so much scuffed skin and dizzy shreds one can take...

Hearing JD telling Aaron that he needs to commit and Aaron replying "I don't know if I can". I can relate to that more than he will ever know.

I did my first ever ollie today!!!! I learned quicker then expected. Its my 3rd week skating, and I only go out maybe twice a week. Now I just have to practice getting the back wheels higher.

"I want to do this series because I hope that it will inspire people. To me it's super fascinating to take a person who is 37 years old, (I've been skateboarding for 27 years) to take a person who has been skateboarding Street for 27 years and just throw them in the vert ramp. So I'm going to do my best to take you through my thoughts, my fears, my emotions of this series as I learn tricks and I brought some friends." I voted for Aaron to do the series for this mindset alone. I'm 35 so seeing him this deep into his career and to learn a crazy ramp like this now is inspiring and super entertaining. I can't be the only one to want to sing 'this girl is on fire' during his stall streak. 🔥 🔥 awesome video guys.

Once Aaron saw himself do it on Uzi's phone he realized "why am I bailing?" and he knew if he went for it he would get it. The only reason it took so long was a huge mental block. I feel like almost 70% of skating is just a mental battle and it's really interesting to see how other progress and over come it. Great job Aaron keep killing it!

18:20 I can see the anger being held in. i know that exact thought in his head like "i know I can do this and i want it, but my mind bails last second every time! WHY?!" i hate getting in my head on a trick like that. Just frustrating.

Absolutely amazing seeing Aaron push his inner skate mentality during this video! Reminds me of yesterday when I did my first fakie Ollie and I just wanted to keep on going!!

I love how supportive the skateboarding and BMX communities are! Everyone is always there, pushing each other to get better, hyping each other up when you're failing a trick over and over, and celebrating hard when you finnaly nail it! Keep up the great work, guys! You're all beast!

It is such a cool concept: the teacher becoming the student! We can see that the struggle is real and perhaps a little odd to say but we do get inspired by that. There were a lot of useful tips along the way. It was a great first episode! Thank you for inspiring and entertaining us!

JD is so awesome, he's even a MOTIVATOR!! love that kid. Great job Aaron! Conquer that fear!

Definitely inspirational man. Glad to know I ain't the only one truly terrified of dropping in. Had a bad time in my 20s on a quarter pipe and could never quite do it. Awesome to see you overcome the beast. Loving JD's encouragement too.

Aaron, watching you learn to skate vert is definitely inspiring me! I wish I could give this video more thumbs up. Watching all of you skate the vert ramp is SO fun! i can't stop smiling when Aaron is riding the ramp, and watching him battle that tail stall reminded me of skating ramps with my friends when we were younger. JD is an awesome part of the crew too, i love what he is bringing to the videos. You guys have kept it interesting and I know the fans have their favorites, but this is the most stoked I've been watching a braille video in a long time. Looking forward to all the vert content!

Aaron's nervous energy in this while going for the stall made me laugh numerous times during this, but serious steps were made today. He's definitely getting visibly more comfortable throughout the video though and this one felt well deserved when he finally got it.

One of the best series in a while!! Lots of people in their 40s, even 50s, are approaching the sport! You could even get the longboard and surfskate scenes involved!
