Aaron Hernandez College Teammate Charged with Murder of Girlfriend: The Shocking Details Revealed

Ойын-сауық

Former Florida Gator football star Earl "Tony" Joiner accepted a plea deal in the murder of his 26-year-old girlfriend Hayzel Obando. Joiner was a safety for the University of Florida and was a former teammate of NFL star and convicted murderer Aaron Hernandez, who eventually killed himself in prison. Joiner is accused of murdering his girlfriend in 2016 and was charged three years later in 2019. Law&Crime's Sierra Gillespie breaks down the shocking story.

Why is Aaron Hernandez in the headline if it was someone else? Nothing wrong with the story, but Earl Joiner should be the headline not Hernandez.

I remember this episode. Theres history of at least one previous police interaction of DV that left her bleeding. The night they think it happened he was going to strip clubs spending HER tax return check on strippers and drinking, when she sees whats happening with the account while at home with two kids. When he got home there was a confrontation that left her shot to death. Then he calls and sends a foto of himself to his family looking sorry for himself. He then packs up the girls and drives them to his mothers house to create an alibi (he wasnt known to even be willing to watch them so she could go to the store alone before this happened) . Upon returning several days later he calls the cops, the recorded call sounded really suspicious. This guy had this coming a while ago. He should allocute.

That's the first... at least that I've heard of judges asking defendants if their actually pleading guilty or accepting the lesser of the two evils (reprecussions) in so many words... in plea agreements. SAlyhough it's seemingly a useful practice, we'd probably have up to even extensively more defendants pleading guilty based on actual claimed guilt (how it should be) if incarceration facilities were firstly formulated to heal or recover as opposed to bitterly punish.
