lovin' the michigan perspective. i also remember a time when skiers were harsh to snowboarders. at mt. brighton (also michigan) our go to move when skiers were being jerks was to sit right at the drop-in spot of the "half-pipe" they used to have and unclick one of their ski bindings right as they dropped...gotta say i prefer the way it is now though with mutual respect between us, maybe i'm just not old enough

can also confirm Chris Engelsman is a Michigan hero. he did a tour through mt. brighton back in the day and was the absolute man. still got the signed poster hanging on the wall down in my basement all these years later. as a fellow tall shred, watching him bust a cab 9 off a 20 foot jump was eye-opening

YES! I was a Michigan kid who went Breck in '93-97, and lived in Telluride in '98....Remember ALL of this, the Solid crew, the fricken Rasta peeps in T-ride, etc. So hilarious. Also, as a graphic designer, I agree with Aaron, all great design starts on paper. Its the creativity and the idea. The computer is just another tool to build the logo.

I own idk maybe 15 pairs of nike janoski. Every time I lace them up to skate, walk to the local 7y, or to go on a date I look at that logo and smile. To see the man that made that be such a rad dude makes me even happier when seeing it!

This is a rad episode guys. Stoney, do you remember 20 years ago the crazy Halloween party we had at Engelsman's house? MFM was Djing. I lived there with Parker and Christensen too. I think Travis was drunk and dumped in the sink.. lol.
