As you probably noticed throughout the show, Lin pays tribute to his many influences. In this particular scene, it's to Dr. Seuss and his play on words. Check out Dr. Seuss' Fox in Socks. There's a KZread video read aloud. You'll have a chuckle every time you see/hear this scene after Fox in Socks. Lol.

Burr was more socially advanced at the time than Hamilton was lmao

When you hear the beat-boxing and referred to hearing tom-toms, they're actually banging their fists on a wooden table to create some of the beat there as well.

@@JacobRestituto Daveed, Oak and Anthony's drumming wasn't picked up by the mic so Questlove, who produced the album, did it for them.

Alexander Hamilton calls Aaron Burr, sir because Burr is more socially advanced than Hamilton. 🙃

My favorite part, at 2:39: Hamilton: He handles the financials? Burr: You punched the bursar. (rhymes with Burr, sir.)

Again, Jacob, all of the musical background is a collaboration between the composer (LIn-Manuel Miranda) and the orchestrator/arranger (Alex Lacamoire). I'm separating them because most musicians do. But Alex decided about the instrumentation and then wrote it. At the same time, he arranged the vocals. Those are tremendous work for two people. Alex earned his Kennedy Center medal.

Sam Adams was a founding father so I always thought it was a funny to refer to him as the beer (which is not an old company at all)

They do use ableton quite a bit. But the creators have stressed that they only use it when it’s nearly impossible for someone to play a live performance with absolute perfect timing.
