DGD has been so underrated from the jump Tilian's voice speaks for itself and Will Swan is an icon in his own right musically imo lol we own the night is a good song too! Their older stuff w Johnny Craig is also a ride to listen to

To give a clearer picture. Tilian uses head voice and falsetto interchangeably. It's perfection hearing how he transitions so well.

Dance Gavin Dance is one of those bands people love partly because of their ever changing sound. They've always had that funky aspect to them, which is why I got so invested in them, it's very experimental and unique. If you wanna get a better taste for this band and their potential, I'd say check out older songs with previous vocalists. Two amazing songs are "Uneasy Hearts Weigh The Most" with vocalist Kurt Travis and "Blue Dream" with vocalist Jonny Craig. Make sure you get the og versions though, cause DGD likes covering their older songs with their new vocalist.

Tilian’s dad was a Scientologist and tried to indoctrinate him. That’s what this video is about, in case you were wondering. Keep up the good work!

you realize chino did a feature on their second album the self titled record called "caviar" you should check it out it was on repeat all the time in my car when that record dropped.

song is about Tilian's dad. Tilian was raised in the church of scientology and realized it was all BS. Glad you reacted to this one. I figured it was something like that..Holy shit that makes so much sense now..

Started taking lessons to sing Tilian's lines for this song for Karoke at my in laws house one day. My wife's family are scientologists.

One of favorite songs by them as of recently is Nothing Shameful with Andrew(touring guitarist/backup singer I guess) featured on it..... Highly recommend

You guys should definitely do more! This is one of the few bands from high school I still jam to and for good reason! As I gotten older I have a much higher appreciation for this band!

I would love for you to react to all of Mothership by Dance Gavin Dance. Or even just Here Comes the Winner. Tilian's vocals are absolutely incredible across the whole album, and you'll love just how fun the songs get.

Idk, like man of the year, the life version is a masterpiece as art itself but not for everyone like, I think it's the hardest band for me to say what is their best song. It's not fully falsetto that Tilian is singing with, it's a mixed voice, a percentage of chest voice, and a percentage of head voice, and he is really crazy with the control of his voice. Great reaction bud!

For some background they have 2 singers. Jon mess (unclean vocals) and tillian Pearson (clean vocals). My favorite song off their newest album is “strawberry’s’ wake” and I would highly recommend it

I'd recommend a band called Fair to Midland; they were pulling this sound off a while ago and nobody noticed them because they didn't have the production value.
