Aaliyah | Gone But Not Forgotten | Tribute To The Life of Legendary R&B Singer
SUBSCRIBE: kzread.info...
Considering the incredible legacy she left behind, it’s quite fitting to discover that R&B superstar Aaliyah’s name means “The highest and most exalted one,” in Arabic. From the earliest stages of her life, her parents had high hopes and expectations for their young daughter. Aaliyah would not only go on to match those expectations but blow them completely out of the water. By the age of 22-years old, she had already earned her spot as one of the fastest rising stars in entertainment thanks to her legendary recording career and her developing presence in films. In fact, Aaliyah was on pace to become the biggest star in the world when a tragic plane crash robbed us of all of her incredible potentials. But in the 20-years since her untimely passing, Aaliyah has become immortalized by the many people her music touched along the way.

I’m glad you guys updated this. The original was good I think this one was a little better. Also, nice suit jackets Michael and Clyde. They were definitely appropriate for honoring a true icon. RIP Aaliyah.
She was so naturally gorgeous! Sad how a lot of females these days don’t think natural beauty is good enough..
No one can ever replaced the legendary queen Aaliyah
Imagine where she would have been today. 🙇🏾🙏🏾

She had that impact on people, like you didnt know her personally but you felt like you did. I love her music and her movies and its sad to be taken so young like imaging what other projects she could've done. I get chills everytime I see a video of hers to this day. She is one of the few artist that will live one for many generations to come. She will never be forgotten.

in a weird way i’m glad i never got to see an old version of her, my only memories of her is a nice young talented women. no time to ruin her career like whitney or many of the other female icons. there’s something bitterly sweet about an icon passing in their prime

Aaliyah is a true Queen i wanna cry rn
She was awesome, taken far too soon. How could you not like her, she was amazing humble down to earth.
Aaliyah forevaaaaaaaaa miss u 😘 baby girl
20 years later and I'm still heartbroken & in disbelief. I was 8 when she passed and I remember JUST seeing her on 106 and Park that week smh. Like Clyde, her passing was the first news I consciously remember and it's left an imprint on me ever since. I cried so hard because she was and always will be my idol. Since 1998. She was such a trailblazer and way far ahead of her time. I miss her every day but I know she's looking down so proud of us for holding her down & keeping her legacy alive 20 years later. We'll always love & ride for our Babygirl 💕👑🕊
I will always watch her stuff like I don’t already know mostly everything 🥺😭

Thanks I love Aaliyah Rest in Paradise.
Yea I needed this I miss her like she’s someone I knew personally. It hurts sometimes to even watch docs of her because I just wish she was alive but I couldn’t run forever. The reality is she’s gone and nothing can change that, but she’s still here with her legacy and extraordinary talent transcending time and life itself inspiring a new generation. We love you Aaliyah, rest in power!🙏🏾🕊👼🏾❤️🩹
Thanks for giving us updated for Aaliyah. , Do the Notorious B.I.G. Gone but not forgotten updated next.
SURE GLAD SHE GOT THE SPOTLIGHT!! HER VOICE "WAS" THE EARLY 2000'S.. HER VOICE IS PURE NOSTALGIA FOR ME... BUT I KNOW ITS MUCH MORE!!! RIP Princess! MUCH LOVE
Her beauty was breathtaking her talents was like no other and her mind and heart was rare
🕊️🕊️🕊️ rest in Paradise Aaliyah
She was so cool and beautiful. Wish she was still among us.
Rip Aaliyah 😢😢
August 25, 2001 will forever be a sad reminder of this immense loss. I got very sick at work that day, so I found out the next day and I was devastated! I wanted to meet her on MTV's Fanatic, but it will never be. Sadly, they were supposed to leave on 8/26, not 8/25, but the label rushed them back on a different, less-maintained plane. That's a whole 'nother turn of events, though... Hype Williams, the director of the #RockTheBoat video, had a last minute idea to get a Bahamian sunrise. The green screen would've been just fine, Hype!! We'd probably still have #BabyGirl on Earth, doing what she loved. 🙏🏾🕊🖤♥

@@aleesharenea8565 yes, indeed, she'll forever be missed. Sometimes it feels like it was just yesterday, whenever August rolls around and we reminisce. Grief just makes time feel strange. Back then, I remember trying to imagine how Aaliyah's family must've felt. Sure, all of her fans felt one level of sadness. Being sympathetic and possibly even empathetic surely pales in comparison to the actual loss of loved ones. In the last decade, I've lost my Big Sister (2/2011), my Mom (2/2014) and today (10/31) makes a year since my Big Brother was laid to rest... So, yeah, unfortunately I understand just how grief takes a toll on your life after loss, firsthand. I don't wish that feeling on anyone. Sorry for rambling.
My favorite Aaliyah memory has to be her interview with Beyoncé they looked like they had a great time and had a lot of respect for each other💕
Such a beautiful legend 💯🙌🕊💫

I was 7 years old turning 8 in Sept of that year I remember this and 9/11 at the time I though what's the odds of these events happening so close 😞🤔
Even with all the movie and music depictions, she just had the vibe of a really good person

Solange said she's a huge Aaliyah fan and it shows... It would've been amazing if they could've worked together.
Glad I made it on here before this video blows up and proud to say ima be in the top first 50 comments on here. Secondly I just wanna say of the people I think about on a consistent basis every single day she's one of them. Literally top 3. Some may say top 2 but unfortunately can't put her over my mom and kids 😕 lol but growing up I had the biggest crush on her. Shit I still do. Had dreams of marrying a woman like this when I was a kid in the 90s. It's 2021 and I still do. May God have you close to him at all times. I know I would've. Rest in eternal love. My love will forever be on repeat for you babygirl 💞💖💕❤💙
I love her
...years ago, actress #AliMcGraw was on an episode of Oprah... where she said (of the late Farrah Fawcett) "...to be that beautiful and still be kind to women." Ms. *Aaliyah* Haughton, *same* goes to you: To be that beautiful, inside and out, and *still* be *kind* to women, people... will luv you forever for *that* alone! Truly a quality human being, the Spiritual Realm must adore you as much as your fans do--moreso!
R.i.p
So glad you updated this but damn how many times do these ''professional'' channels mess up the info?! Y'all messed up the first video now you're calling Alicia Keys' debut album 'Songs in a Mirror'? I swear you had ONE JOB.
