He lost his mother at very younger age. She was the sister of Mr. K.G.Menon, who was working with AIR at Trivandrum. Also he has acted in Malayalam movie "Thakara" as Mooppen. Cine actor Janardhanan is the brother of his aunt (Menon's wife). Father Krishna Moorthy (late), who was a Tennis coach, spent his last days at my home town Manjeri. Nandu was my close friend during college days in early 80s.

In my 30 years experience in the U.S, police officers rarely ask the driver to come outside the vehicle. We should sit in the vehicle until the officer comes to us. When the officer comes to the driver-side, he would ask, "driver license, insurance card please." Then he would go to his vehicle and come back with a traffic ticket. Then he would tell us about the traffic violation before we sign the paper. Twice officers told me to come outside. One was to check the light on the number plate (back), and another time an officer called me to the front and advised me to fix the head light. I received 2 written warnings 25 years ago and I was driving a 10 year old car. Never get outside the vehicle unless officer say so. Some bad drivers get outside the car and make trouble with police.
