Thank you, I'm about to go to an aa tomorrow, I've lost my career of 23yrs for dui, just wanted to drink until I did not wake up until my friend also my amazing dentist reached out & offered to take me to an AA. So yes my anxiety is through the roof but I want to go & appreciate this great man so much that even though I'm scared I'm doing it! God bless everyone

My dad did 30 years and just got out. He flew out from Missouri and kicked my ass. I haven't seen him since I was 4 years old. I was really drunk, hiding beers behind the TV like Dr. Bob. I had no idea what he would look like, but I knew he was coming. He told me he went to AA just to get out of his cell. He never drank a day in his life. I am now going through hellish withdrawals, hallucinations, both audible and visual. I am scared of seizures. I have gotten a sponsor and I attended daily meetings.

Sounds like exactly what I went through except the thing with the sedatives. I hid bottles all throughout the house, from my fiance, smuggled them in in my hat, my pants, boots etc. terrified of DT's. I've got 10 weeks sober after a horrible detox and very lucky to be alive today. Couldn't have done it without these stories

" Damn... i love you baby, hope god can touch your heart, give you the courage to give me one more opportunity and let you know i will never hurt you again and you can learn to trust me again.
