i think you nailed it. Its a slower Churchill with less DPM but more Pen. Not my type of Tank. Thank you Skill for your fair evaluation of the tank.

It also has 8 degrees of gun depression, but less hp then the Churchill VII/Crocodile. Personally I would have this tank over the Crocodile. Bit higher alpha and pen, combined with gun depression is worth less hp for me.

This whole churchill line to the Prince of Wales weas a nightmare to me. As bad asthe TD AT-line even with that Tortoise... Oh man I hated those lines and Asked sometimes why do I want tyo even live anymore. But thankfully for all of that pain I got finally Deathstar, which was replased with an other Tortoise aka Badger. This game has went too fast for any of the slow tanks to really relevant anymore. In low Tiers ofc as people don't know what they are doing, but in high Tiers... No thanks. I rathet play even with light tanks, if nothing else its is for sure at least more exciting that crawling slowely to a direction where your team loses...

My first (and so far only) game in the A43 resulted in 2 kills, #2 in damage, #1 in experience, and a nice win. I'm afraid to play it again to spoil those nice stats :p

As soon as I saw the flat armor, my expectations for this tank dropped to zero

The track weakspot can still be covered by the flap of armor that connects the hull with the frontal wheel. While the armor stops working against tier 9 tank penetration (which it wont face at tier 6 mm) There are still plenty of tier 8 tanks that still struggle when it sidescrapes or when it sits hulldown using its depression. The only real weakness are it's speed and alpha.

WG has been selling tanks at their proper tier as premiums for a while now. A43 BP has existed in the game for a very long time now, so maybe they're done selling this type of premium and we're going to get the revamped tech tree with stuff like Tiger II and Pershing at tier 7, etc. within the next 2-3 years. Maybe.

I don't care how bad or good it is, I've been waiting for it. Was on a CT test in the tech tree for gold years ago and I found it fun then as a top tier. Since then we heard nothing about it, and now suddenly it appears. They have been sitting on this one for half a decade

not really. one of the best things about the BP is the turret armor and this thing doesn't have it. its just a regular church with the 17pdr from the BP

Armor of A43BPis not "bulletProof" -waht you expect from a Tier6. Anyway for Tier6 standard armor is not that bad, VK's need gold for reliable penetration. yes, speed is better than TOG, but what tank hasn't.

A rip-off and waste of money, the tech tree Black Prince isn't bad (not good neither) but no way worth paying cash for this premium version which will play just the same, better going for the Excelsior for a lower tier premium British heavy and have more fun playing it

Skill, i think i remember you saying you were going to visit the Tank Museum in England?? Anyway, Richard does lots of work on its Website and when they have the TankFest's you will probably hear him doing some of the commentary for the visitors.

I loved the BP, feel kinda sad after selling it for the Caernavor, and gotta admit, I didn't liked the Caern so I felt kinda bad for selling the BP. I've bought the A43 BP and found myself mostly playing it, I dunno, I think I enjoy this type of tanks

Only thing that I see that I don’t like is the speed otherwise I could enjoy this a lot. Churchill 7 with a 171mm pen almost perfect imo but the speed definitely makes me wonder if it’s worth it.

On paper it looks pretty similar to the TOG, trading hit points for more armor and slightly better top speed. I'll stick with my TOG.

Wargaming keeps selling higher tier tanks one tier lower. This is their new power creep. They've effectively been selling tier 9s at tier 8 for ages. Bigger guns, better armour, with just a little need here or there. People go to tier 6 & 7 to escape a lot of the silly power creep and gold spam (although it still happens there too, just not as much) ...but now It's creeping in there, more and more. Like the captured king tiger ...and yeah I know this new one isn't necessarily a good tank, but there will be more copy/paste tanks like this from higher tiers coming.

Well ...... is just a worse black prince ...... will be a fine addition to my collection but i will not play with it :v

it's a boring tank... But as top tier.. It's a beast!!!! so fare average around 3500 damage blocked. around 800 assist. and a little over 1400 damage done . And I suck at playing. =P

Crocodile sucks. This tank eats crocs for breakfast. Croc bounces so much. This tank is aim and click. Amd nice to actually have turret armor.
