Thanks for watching! I wish you all a Happy New Year and all the best for 2018! Thanks for all the support in 2017! This was my best Storm video from this past year 2017! I have never seen a big Airliner do a Go Around like this China Airlines A350 did. It was only meters apart from the runway. When I filmed this, I knew he wouldn't make it, so a wise decision by the excellent China Airlines pilot! Check the landing after the Go Around. This was a perfect touchdown under these extreme conditions during the storm. Subscribe for many more amazing aviation videos coming up in 2018! Greetz, peace.

Now that's what you call trustable costumer safety when it comes to advanced tech development. Even a massive plane like that has great pilot training, advance navigation tech to help the plane and safety calls. Salute!

That is one of the most impressive crosswind landings I've ever seen. His nose was pointed directly at the camera when he touched down. Gotta be at least a 20-25° yaw there

Lost for words...that was Masterclass I've seen videos like these, this has been bothering me "How are such manouvers executed with a side stick* I can only picture or imagine the possibilities with a yoke but with a stick, I'm baffled. I'm aware that pilots do train thoroughly for any eventuality.

That looked just like me when I was learning to fly in a Cessna 152 in 1986! I'm only a private pilot and don't want to second guess a professional flight crew, but my opinion is that this crew was a little bit too committed to making that landing and waited about 3 seconds too long to execute the go around procedure. They came dangerously close to stalling and would have done so but for the incredible power in those 2 engines. Great video and great sound.

Absolutely brilliant. It doesn't look bad until you bring the ground into view then you realise the A350 is flying sideways!!! Thanks so much, my friend! Very sorry for the late reply! :-( For some reason I missed it. True, the A350 is almost flying sideways and the situation was so dangerous that ATC closed the runway right after this plane touched down on the 2nd attempt. I could imagine a lot passengers, especially on the left side, felt sick and were terrified by the situation. ;-) True, looks like the tyres were deforming indeed under the stress. This is one of the worst airports of the world, a lot of trafic of planes costrained to land in absurd conditions with bad weather. IMO dutch Governors must to close this structure and rebuild the airport in another place in Holland. This hub in the long run will close for sure.

Bacamor I don't agree. AMS is one of the best and oldest airports in the world and it will never close. These storms are not raging every month over the Netherlands and it's part of the Western Europe region, because of the influence from the Atlantic Ocean in combination with the North Sea. Last year AMS was the no.3 most successful airport in Europe. Thanks for watching. Greetz
