In parts 1 and 2 of this webinar series, we discussed the regulatory drivers behind the A2L refrigerant transition, what an A2L refrigerant is, and the standards and model code updates related to the use of A2L refrigerants.
In part 3, we address the status of state and local code adoption, and legislation that has been passed by states to allow the use of A2L refrigerants. We also highlight the available resources for information about state and local code adoption, including AHRI’s interactive A2L Refrigerants Building Codes Map, the Safe Refrigerant Transition website, and other resources from the International Code Council and other organizations.
