I mean I was literally born with the mathematical equivalent of illiteracy (dyscalculia, or innumeracy, if you prefer that), I don't understand basic multiplication, subtraction, addition or division, let alone counting past ten, the very concept of maths fills me with frustration and confusion, throughout primary school and high school I fluctuated between failing every maths subject or finally memorizing something about a maths subject and not being able to retain that knowledge, but this felt a lot more pleasant than any maths classes I've sat through, and I feel like I've actually learned something from it, even if this is basically diving into the deep end, but I probably won't be able to retain it, unless I'm periodically revisiting this video for the rest of my life, still though, at least I have some grasp of it, but thank you nonetheless. While this does cover the basics of two major calculus topics, these really only scratch the very surface in the grand scheme of things and saying that understanding both of these things will get you at least a B is very bold and misleading.

@@velocity_2314 It's more of a facade than a basic understanding. Take it from me and my bachelor's in math. Mathematics, from kindergarten through graduate school, is composed of building blocks that support one another. You can't understand multiplication until you understand addition, you can't understand linear algebra until you understand set theory, etc. This video simply gives you two of the blocks that you encounter in a calculus class. Yes, they are two very prominent topics in calculus. However, it doesn't put into perspective how many blocks they support, nor how many blocks they're supported by. You will need to understand all of these blocks to be successful in calculus. The only point I'm trying to make is that if you go into a calc class after watching this video and expecting it to be this easy, prepare to be disappointed. Understanding how these couple of problems are done will not put you ahead the curve in any significant way.

@@50Steaks68 I have two ways to prove that wrong. 1. let’s make two graphs, one is y=x^0, the other is y=0^x The first graph should be a straight line passing through y=1 no matter what the x value is, and when x=0 the graph should be going through the point (0,1) since anything to the power of 0 equals to one. Now let’s take the other graph, since 0 to the power of anything is always zero, the second graph should be a straight line right passing through y=0 no matter what the x value is, passing through (0,0) when x=0. The problem here is that in one graph 0^0=0 and in the other 0^0=1, meaning it should be undefined 2. Let’s rewrite 1 as x/x. x/x can be rewritten as x^1/x^1 x^1/x^1 can be rewritten as x^(1-1) x^(1-1) can be rewritten as x^0. We can try this out with 3 for example: 1=3/3=3^1/3^1=3^(1-1)=3^0 All works out, 3^0 equals to 1. Now let’s do it with 0 1=0/0 see the problem? You can’t divide by zero, now can you? Both of these points prove why 0^0 is undefined
