Farming on that scale must have been hard work, but a much better life than being a computer slave in a mad modern office. And in a beautiful environment, of which Britain has lost so many.

Idyllic time for the children - something they will never forget - Perhaps still even around today as grandparents -sweet memories for one and all - factory farms though mostly pertain today -sadly - .

If only children and adults could still experience that kind of lifestyle.

A great nostalgic look at a small mixed family farm, which through intensification and and modern economics have all but disappeared. Yet they played an important role in agricultural development allowing first time farmers a foot on the ladder from which they could progress a career on.

WHERE IS THIS ("SOB!") I don't want much, just to know where this was filmed... I love these old films, but they seldom ever identify the specific places involved. I also hanker to know what became of the characters featured in it, what became of the children and the parents; is the farm still much the same or now owned by some wealthy Londoner as an occasional bolt-hole at the weekend. This for me is all part of the spin-off history, and evolution of the place. Wonderful to watch. Thank you.

What was it they were feeding the cattle? It sounded like "mangoes" but it can't be that.

I had to look it up, too: they're mangolds, which go by many names, but the Wikipedia page is "mangelwurzel".

This is the last time you're spamming my feed. Unsubscribed. EDIT: looks like I'm not the only one, your SocialBlade is hurting today. It's almost like people have warned you about this stuff. Please don't upload 89 videos over an hour or two. Ridiculous.
