I love this!! A co-worker dialed the wrong area code while trying to call long distance. A lady on the other end 1200 miles away picked up the phone. A brief "I apologize" moment turned into a nearly hour long talk. Long story short, more phone calls and now they've been married since 1981.

The night my late sister had her last and final brain hemorrhage, she managed to crawl to the phone to dial her best friend. But she dialed an incorrect number. The woman she got talked to my sister and got the correct number, and had her husband call my sister’s friend on another line. The woman then prayed with my sister until the ambulance came. That was a Friday night, and my sister was taken off life support that Sunday, which was Father’s Day. We never knew who that kind and loving woman was, but this happened in 1987, and I have never forgotten the woman. She has been blessed many times over throughout the years. As an aside; my sister was just 44 years old and died from a brain arterial vascular malformation (AVM). She was also an organ donor. A week later on the local news, my parents watched a special interest story wherein they talked about a 44 year old female organ donor who died from a brain trauma where and when my sister did, and how sis’s organs were being used by other people, including her kidneys going to a 15 year old girl who had been on dialysis for a while and was nearing the end of her life. We knew it was my sister who was the donor because sis was the only brain trauma patient who died where and when she did. I have always felt so proud of my sis, who suffered 17 years before she passed. I’m sure there is a woman out there who got kidneys as a teen and blesses my sis every day, the same way I bless the woman on the phone. This story on the video made me think of the good that can come when we think we’ve made a mistake, and it is a lovely story. ❤

This reminds me of my grandmother who would mistakenly call an office at the local hospital while she was trying to reach her friend for their early morning chats. I later met the young lady that always answered and it warmed my heart to hear her say 'I miss Miss Hattie's calls.' I thanked her because my grandmother said she was always sweet and never seemed bothered by the call, they would just chat briefly to make sure the other was ok and end with have a lovely and blessed day.

My uncle and his girlfriend broke up so he kept on talking with the other girl who he didn't know in person yet. When they finely met face to face they said it was love at first sight. The number of friends one has does not define you. What defines you is the love you have for yourself, your creator & others. The vision you have for your life and the peace you have within and how that is reflected in the world outside of you is what matters. Do not feel bad. There aren't enough good people in the world like this. If a wrong number is dialed, people seem to be annoyed, even if it happens only once. Good message to spread, be nice because you don't know what that person calling is going through. This man has a wonderful heart

What a beautiful story. I try to compliment strangers because I still remember a bagger at Publix telling me to smile, you're beautiful when you smile he said. That was about 25 years ago and I still appreciate his words since I was having a bad day and he made me smile. I went back to work that day in a better mood.
