L'évolution malheureusement nous a rendu complétement inutiles et incapables de faire de tels travaux sans un bureau d'études, une demi-douzaine d'ingénieurs, des mathématiciens, etc., sans les quels ils est impossible de faire tourner les machines numériques. cela dit, je tire mon chapeau parce que vous êtes incroyablement bons dans tout ce que vous faites.

Yes. We need very complicated, precise turning and grinding machines, skilled programmers, and CAD programs to remanufacture that type of part. And they do it along the street. The quality is not guaranteed, however.

Great Job... But Now the Part Should be Heated Up to 400 Degrees and then Buried in Sand Over Night to Normalize the Metal.

Es muy obvio que antes de maquinar las piezas tuvo que calentarlas para bajar la dureza del material , pero no les vuelve a dar el mismo temple como puede durar mucho tiempo esa reparación, puede que dure poco

Typically the steel is only heat treated on the gear teeth and the splines so the inside metal is not very hard. Also this part may be locally produced so a few weeks ago it may have been a washing machine. Not a proper alloy in other words.

That thing is nowhere close to square from center to center. You can see the piece wobble in lathe.

Surprisingly you can do this and it will survive. I I I have used welded, shortened inputs in racecars and never broken the welds. Gears yes!! Is it good practice? No but it does work. Though the engineer that has done them for me is far better equipped. Though never try this with an axle shaft. You can weld them similar to this and they last about 5 minutes. Think about the amount of reduction in gearing they have to take.

15:09 you can see how ruined is that lathe. There is a plenty of flat spots on cuted areas. It is just "jumping". But they still weld trough lathe and destroys bearings in it. So no surprise. These morons are never going to learn.

A little bit too long and the sound needs work 👍🏼👍🏼

First off, depending on where this is used it can last quite a while or just one hour. The precision is none existent and the woble in high torque application will brake it and cause a lot of noise. Secondly I am not too sure if those teeth gain more and more pits as they proceed.

well first i wonder if there is any other place in the world where they would do a thing like this, making a working shaft out of two old once, and second i know for sure that every where in the world they would try to make you bey a new shaft. its amazing what skill this workers have and what they are willing to try and do to help someone out.
