A Woman Called Golda 1982 Ingrid Bergman Part 2 w Hebrew subtitles

The link to part 1: • A Woman Called Golda 1...
A Woman Called Golda is a 1982 American made-for-television film biopic of the first woman Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir (outstandingly played by the actress Ingrid Bergman in her last role).
The story of Golda Meir's life is tightly linked to the rebirth of Israel and what happened before and after. In this 2 parts miniseries they managed to create very close to the authentic feeling of how it was at that time in Israel in the Kibbutzes, in the parliament, and lots of other events before and after the independence of Israel. In the miniseries Ingrid Bergman is outstandingly playing the mature Golda Meir (this was the last film of Ingrid Bergman for which she got both the Golden Globe Award as well as Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress).
This is part 2 (the second and final part) of the miniseries "A woman Called Golda" 1982.
This film is a must for anyone who has feelings for the Jewish people and Israel, as it portrays the challenges and hardships that lead to the independence of Israel. This film can also be appreciated by people of all cultures and traditions, as it is an inspiration for one and for all, showing how a person with one pointed dedication and conviction can lead to great deeds which can help many people and a nation as a whole.

She was an incredible woman. I like the way that even as an important official she was still comfortable riding the bus, interacting with everyday people. Gold Meir was a treasure.

The current Prime Minister is corrupt (and so are the members of the current coalition). But we do have devoted leaders which have proven their dedication to Israel. PM Bennett 2021-2022 was one of the best Prime Ministers, at the same time Gantz was Defense Minister and Israel experienced the most peaceful year. The policy of responding firmly to every single rocket and every single incendiary balloon was shown to be very effective deterrent. At the same time Lapid had quite a few achievements as Foreign Minister including effective organization for Israelis and Jews to leave Ukraine while fighting was going on, he also did a lot to improve relations with many nations, helped to release and bring home several Israelis which were arrested in other nations etc. Also Liberman was excellent Treasury Minister - Netanyahu left Israel with almost 200 billions deficit and within a year Israel had over 37 Billions surplus. We have good people, unfortunately the ones that are currently in the government are causing only problems and are selfish and narrow minded. But it is good to have some contrast and context so that the future will be much better.

George Mackenzie, Renfrew Scotland. Spent many months living in Israel 1985 on Kibutzz Sdot Yam. I fell in love with the people and country of Israel who are among in my opinion the greatest and bravest nation on Earth. I hope if not in my life time that peace will prevail in the Middle East . Golda i believe was chosen by God as was Moses and others that followed to deliver to the people of Israel and their neighbours ever lasting peace. Shalom George

Iam surprised the Algerian who talked to Golda Meir is part of fiction I guess..Algerian are not black they belong to North Africa indeed...we have black population in the south who are black this the first point that I notice in this movie Second point the Algerian was a weaken person when talking to this woman..let me tell that the men of Algerian revolution were not weak and they didn't accept ideas from the other side which means this Israeli woman..they discussed issues ..listen carefully and reacted with intelligence...if Golda was honest as you ve showed in the movie Algerians were clever I don't believe that she met an Algerian..Israel helped Guy Mollet during our Revolution for only one reason kept Algerie Francaise This meeting between this Israeli woman and an Algerian was just a fiction

Sorry Sue, but there are 57 Muslim states in the world, and only one, tiny 3300 year old Jewish State of Israel that predates ALL of them. There has never been an independent Arab State of 'palestine'. There has never been a king of 'palestine'. There is no 'palestinian' language. The land was Israel, then held by the Ottoman Empire(Turkey) then held by the British Mandate Palestine. The idea of it being somehow a land that Jews "took" from anyone is a lie meant to delegitimize Israel.

@@j.j.j9152 Well, that "teeny tiny state of Israel "grows larger by the day. Where are the Palestinians supposed to go? I realize the Israeli people need a state but so do the Palestinians. They are human beings who don't deserve to be held in the worlds largest open air prison. It's wrong (and against international law).

@@suesochko1662 Everything you say is 100% WRONG. "larger by the day"???? 1) SMALLER: In 1977 Israel gave away the ENTIRE SINAI to Egypt in exchange for a piece of paper promising peace 2) SMALLER in 1992 Israel gave away land in Judea and Samaria (aka 'W Bank) and created the 'palestinain Authority' - an entity for an Arab state that has NEVER existed in history in exchange for a promise of peace 3) SMALLER in 2005 Israel threw EVERY JEW out of Gaza in exchange for the 'promise of peace' -and how is GAza an "open air prison"??? Everyone pressured Israel to ethnically cleanse Gaza of Jews to create a self governing Arab Gaza. It unfortunately did this in 2005. This has led to rocket attacks and a 'state' run by Hamas and Islamic Jihad terror groups which are popular with the Jew haters of Gaza. BTW, calling Gaza a 'prison'?? Gaza is bordered by Israel north AND Egypt south. Do you blame Egypt for this "prison? Do you know Israel supplies Gaza with free food, electricity, medical care etc, EVEN WHILE UNDER ATTACK FROM ROCKETS?? Next time, learn some FACTS before you post nonsense.

@Shoshanna Lady, you are deliberately ignoring the point. I am against the oppression of ANY group of people. The Israeli Government is, to put it mildly, oppressing the Palestinians. What the Nazis did to the Jewish people was horrific. I see little difference between that and what the Israeli Government is doing to the Palestinians. Understand what I'm saying?
