I saw Wolf throwing a bunch of teen judo pratictioners with that kata guruma in a YT video a while ago ahah, happy to see him doing it on the big stage too!

I'm a such big Wolf Aaron fanboy! I started judo this year thanks to him where I try to mimick his... With very limited succes of course😂 Looking forward to see him again this year

Just a quick thought for what you said about Wolf defending with his chest, do you think it may be that he’s just so much shorter that his hip defence doesn’t meet the opponents hip and his chest is more adequate?

Didn't he score with a similar kata guruma against the Canadian guy in Tokyo?

The -100kg is one of the most open weight division I would say. Wolf could very well get the gold. He looks like a judoka that gets into top shape in the right time. I like his judo. Bit there are several others that will give him competition

Wolf is fighting very well. You can tell he has trained hard and has a lot of motivation to win. Very Impressive! Looking forward to the upcoming Olympics.

I meet him every Wednesday at the kodokan. A nice guy and not that big actually.

Snuck his fingers nicely in the sleeve of opponents GI @ 3:50. No way the ref could catch that as he was on the other side.

it is still an oversight as the other 2 referees on the table have a 5 second delayed video replay from both sides........same thing happened in the Krasniqi vs Omori semifinal where Krasiqi throws her for wazari with a grip under the belt which was visible on the video if looked closely got to say that, as a referee myself, the refereeing was bad

I wonder if he is starting to hit peak form just in time for Olympics, and that was kind of his plan all along. With his less than stellar performances up until recently.

Kind of interesting that he keeps touching his forehead? Like he’s wiping the sweat off his brow, or fixing his hair…..
