Another great job. That engine sure runs smooth for how old it looks. Thanks for all the videos and take care of that throat.

That's a sweet running HH100! I built an HH70 for my Toro 724 snowblower, but we only got 2 snowstorms this year in Buffalo NY. But a year's worth of snow fell all at once the second time! I had to hand-shovel 5 feet of snow to get the garage open to get the snowblower out. I kept saying "I wish it would snow so I can try my snowblower!" Maybe some apple cider vinegar & olive oil in salads would help your throat infection, Zippo?

I really like those old 4 cylinder engines, I have had several but I only had one with electric start,, they usually start pretty easy until they get hot then they are reluctant to start using the crank I mean.. I have found it's not unlikely to twist a head bolt or two off when taking the head off. I just bought an old 2 cylinder Wisconsin the other day, I have a video of it I made a few videos back.

NIce video, I had an old Wisconsin 4 cyl that came off an old bailer. The valve springs were so bad that they would not close the valves all the way when trying to start it. I installed new valve springs and it started on the second try and ran great. Can't wait to see if you can make that one run. Many thanks and feel better.

As far as those carbs go, I've also seen worse, completely useless ones. Have an HH140 OHV on a Bolens H-14. Had to adapt a Kohler carb to it. Engine runs pretty well but haven't been able to mount an air cleaner. Lack of clearance to the loader bracket!

I think cylinder pressure is low as you cranked it all the way around. I can't hardly pull my TJD over tdc. Just a heads up your risking harm with thumb wrapped around the start crank handle and pushing handle down if it missfires. Palm grab and pull incase of missfire the handle slaps knuckles and unlatches rather than pulling a thumb or pushing back against a wrist.

Hello, I also have a VE4 V4 engine. I’m looking for the bell shaped top for the air cleaner. The screen that fits over the flywheel air intake. The exhaust manifold. The primer that fits in the intake manifold. Is there any chance that you would sell these parts to me if you have them? Thanks.
