You should make it one of the kids chores to water the plants. Kids love helping with that. It’s the last thing I think of once I’m done doing everything else that needs to be done. My poor plants.

2:05 you could save water and dish soup and maybe some time, by adding a little bit of water in a small container and put the sponge in it and add a bit of dish soap, then scrub everything with it, then simply flush everything with water instead of leaving the water running on the sponge while scrubbing each individual thing and loosing too much water and dish soup

Sending love and light for a happy Thursday my Friend from afar. I'm going home tomorrow!! 3 weeks of caring for both my Parents has flown by, l was only staying to look after Dad whilst Mum was in Hospital having surgery the 5 days she was in Hospital turned into 3 weeks of quality time and a big dose of the best medicine fun and laughter for us all. Cannot wait to see my Benjamin Bunny and Miss Teen but most of all the Bunny. Thankyou for all the support and love during this time it was truly priceless ❤

Use that energy! We’re been working on our horrendous basement for weeks. Which led to some kitchen stuff being moved there which led to decluttering the kitchen. It feels so good if you are in the right mood!

I'm not being sarcastic when I say I really miss the days when I'm cleaning and my littles are dropping things around me. It wasn't as appreciated then as it is now in hindsight. I love how you appreciate that kids are kids and understand messes come with the territory. We had lots of fun making messes when my kids were little, and then we'd turn the music up loud and clean up together too. It was harder to do with toddlers, but we managed. I had 4 kids, but they were spaced out, the oldest was 12 when the youngest was born, with a 9 and 4 year old in the middle. So I'd have a teen and a toddler, both messy in their own way. I miss those days. Now my youngest is 22. Time goes by way too fast.

You have such a great attitude about kids making messes - you are really a patient angel with them and they are lucky to have you as a mom. I know nothing and no one is perfect and I am sure you have your frustrations, but clearly you have an excellent disposition overall and you create a wonderful family environment that seems to be relatively free of stress. Kim, Maybe your office needs an area for “returns” from hauls, maybe a hiding spot for hauls waiting to be filmed. I think your moving the magic wardrobe that you already hide hauls. Think of how cool you could set it up for your KZread office, yet the items can be hidden to keep it “guest approved” LOL. Maybe the dresser can be used in the office for your “returns” or yet to be filmed. It could be classy decorated with flamingos, and using pink, coral, light tans and maybe some light blue for the water elements. Imagine a beautiful flamingo colored round rug, or one with a combination of colors with a flamingo pink woven in? Also, maybe a standing flamingo with some greenery added to the room. Maybe have a space for DK candles to be stored but not seen. Maybe some floating shelves for cookbooks. There are also some knock of essential oil diffuser like the big glass round diffuse in the wooden bowl. I can picture a really cool classy office for you. With one or two arm chairs added in. Then you could look out your front window onto your front yard. IDK. Just passing on some thoughts about how to spoil yourself a little. You work very hard for your family and it could be quite stunning and “coastal” like you mentioned. I think you could use a little more than a desk, yet maybe still have a sweet sitting area for guests. Love ya Girly!

I had a friend, who, every time I would mention going to someone's house I could see her thinking the same thing each time. She would ask me. "Are they clean" … I have never been to her house but that she would clean while I was there. It was like she would clean around me. She would have candles going and if she did sit down, she had scissors, she would trim the candle constantly. But, I love this lady! … she is sweet!

Ok bare with me. I took two 8 compartment ikea book shelves on their sides -I put one in front of the other - I have the material boxes -I stick to black colors One is for winter-one for summer -so bathing suits -shorts- towels -cover ups. Anything that I use for the Warmer months. Then when it gets colder I pull that basket out and pull out the one behind it that’s holding long pants - long sleeve shirts -sweat pants etc So what I’m doing is ‘making a chest of drawers ‘ using IKEA bookshelves that have no backs I’ve used this in each of my bedrooms and this would be great for kids rooms using different colors of baskets and so easy for them to fold their clothes and keep them organized This could also work for you upstairs on that wall where you have the doll house that could easily fit on top of the bookshelf. As long as it sits on its side

How I remember to water plants... I picked a day, TUESDAY; and after doing it for awhile it just became a habit... I automatically water all plants on TUESDAYS. JUST A THOUGHT

A table upstairs would be a great idea. Also make an area with bean bag seating. I would consider a wall of storage cupboards on the wall you mentioned.

I finally pulled the trigger on a crosswave pet!!! I always steam mop, so I was shocked to see what the crosswave picked up! EWWWW. I was so excited to see that it was actually doing something though. I was showing my husband what it picked up, and I was acting like it was the best thing ever...lol!! It is the best thing, but I shouldn't have been so excited to see how dirty the floor was. Oh well. I love this thing!!! I can't wait to take it to my son's house to let his girlfriend try it. I think it’s great for the kids to have the open space in their playroom. I would get a nugget couch for them to use in it. We have one for our playroom loft and the kids love it. They can stack, fort, couch, lounge with it! I am not a Nugget salesperson. My kids just love it! They can shove it to the side when they want more space.

Yes your playroom is a large open area, but that is what makes it so great! It gives kids room to use their imagination to build, create and spread out to just have FUN!

I have a amazing microwave cleaning hack if you dont already know it. It makes it so easy! Take a microwavable bowl or cup and microwave water and some lemon juice or vinegar in the bowl for about 3 minutes. The moisture/steam it puts out while heating makes the mess wipe right out and off with a damp rag. No cleaning product needed. Major time saver! I love your videos by the way! Your energy is fun and you are a total mommy rockstar!

They make plastic blades you clean your stove tops with that don’t scratch at all. I just clean with the Thrive cleaner. Spray it on then take your plastic scrubber and voila! Clean❤️

Rather than carrying things up and down the stairs I would do what we did when we moved my mother one time! She was really good about labeling what was in various containers and so had a rather long balcony setup like yours! We had a laundry basket that we could toss in there and attached a rope so we could lower it over the edge rather than carry it don those steps! The empty boxes got tossed over the railing to the floor below! The boxes of heavier items were placed in a large net on the outside balcony and lowered down to the truck below. Beat running up and down!

And the Thrive cleaner is great to clean your vegetables and clean countertops, refrigerator, etc.

Good morning and here's to a happy Thursday, l see you are still in pain, prayers for healing and a big virtual hug from me to you my Friend. Just letting you know lm going home tomorrow, 3 weeks of caring for my Parents has flown by but lm looking forwards to seeing my Daughter and my Bunny rabbit. I love when you do voiceovers instead of music!! Yay, and entire video with voiceovers!! BTW, contact your waste management company and ask for an extra recycle bin. We have two as we shop online a lot and have so many boxes. They should give you a second one for free! ❤

I think you could benefit from a storage table upstairs. You can easily make one by using cube organizers for the "legs" and get a long piece of wood for the top (from a hardware store). The cheapest route would be like the 2 cube ones ( or bigger if you'd like) on all four corners. You can screw the wood on top or use L-brackets to brace each corner underneath. It would function as a play/craft table and give you more toy storage bins. I know "Bob the builder" uh I mean "Tool the Toolman" can handle that 👍 Thanks again for letting me hang out with ya today 😀
