A wheelchair accessible 700 year old castle?

This video has been proudly sponsored by Visit Wales www.visitwales.com/. A wheelchair accessible 700 year old castle! It didn't quite go to plan on the worlds fastest Zipline Velocity, located in north Wales, but we still made it work, and did so many incredible things. From relaxed and low key, to something hard core. We found some hidden Gems that where wheelchair accessible too.

Thanks for this Gem. We live about 45 mins from Caernarfon and have an adult son in a wheelchair. I will be sharing this with some groups locally who advise visitors on accessible things to do. If you do pop back, you might want to have a night in Llandudno and go to Venue Cymru, who have many of the West End shows on tour. I go there regularly with my son and in Wales, with the Hynt Card, carers go free with a wheelchair user.

You should be proud! This was really inspirational and fun. I've told my partner and we're considering a trip to Wales now! I'd love to know the name of the hotel at the end...it was stunning. Thanks for taking us along, as usual! And pleaaasseee go back and try the zip wire! It's really heartwarming to see these things and holidaying using a wheelchair. ❤ CONGRATS on such a big sponsorship! You deserve this so much and we love being taken along with you. Wonderful video, definitely adding things to my to visit list! For anyone visiting South Wales, I've been to Pembrokeshire Castle in a wheelchair and it was a great experience. My family and I did the guided tour which was adjusted without needing to ask, so that I could go pwith the tour the whole way. They've got accessible toilets and wheelchair access into the cafe as well I believe. It was so good, I was able to push myself around the majority of the visit and I have arms that get tired quickly. Word of warning though, I'd bring someone who can push you, or if you can walk a short distance up hill, as getting through the gate is quite steep, but after that's it's great! Again, great video!!

I wish you would do this for Ireland! I have been to major tourist attractions where the shops don’t have ramps and I have to wait outside while my husband goes in to take photos with his phone. Sometimes I just can’t be bothered. When will they realise that disabled people have money to spend and it would be in their interests to let us shop.

I have wanted to do the zip line for a while. The thing I want to work out is what you did about the wheelchair. I usually do rides, I have to leave my chair as the last thing, as most seats that are not my chair are painful. (I was the first member of the public to get the medics to Everest in WDW, and one the first people from a wheelchair. I heard they turn it down a bit. They how put disabled people in a different place, and warn about back problems where planning on putting disabled people) I know just after they opened my friends went up in the back of a Landrover which my back would not have coped with.

Hmm will going up the mountain I think you go in a 4X4 and its over a quarry, so very bumpy. They have had lots of wheelchair users and people with all sorts of disablites. I have a feeling the drive your wheelchair back down to meet you after your zip line.
