A weekend away in Bala with our Eriba.

We took our Eriba Troll to Bala and visited Dolgellau and Barmouth in Wales.

Your son is a credit to you! He really comes over as a mature, hardworking and pleasant young lad. He seems to be a keen cook too. When you nearly missed the turn for the road to the campsite, I noticed the signpost for Llandderfel. I knew at that point that you were nowhere near the town of Bala. It was good to see some scenes of Bala as that is where I went to school. 'Bala' is a Welsh word for where a river leaves a lake and the town being situated at the north-eastern point of the lake, nearby where the Dee commences its journey to the sea, is why the town got its name. The real name for the lake is 'Tegid' which was also my form name when I was at school.

Hi Andrew, you learn something every day. William is very well mannered and sensitive to others feelings. That likability will serve him well. He’s at College now and has a Saturday job, so we just go away for a night on our own. He will come away on his weekend off and between Christmas and New Year.

Another great vlog! Any chance you could do one on how you set up your roll out canopy and privacy room? Thanks

It won't be until the colder weather now, but you should hang the front and sides and slot those together first, BEFORE slotting the sides into the verticals, which press against the side of the Eriba. That way it will all fit without hassle. Also, don't peg down the legs of your canopy until the very end, so that you can position the legs to be able to get the securing straps to reach from the residence.

Did the Eriba come with the external gas point or did you have it fitted? Love the vids by the way👍

Thanks for the compliments. The external gas point was fitted by the main dealer as an extra and cost around £170.

When the door lever is up it should not be possible to close the door. It is just to lock the door when you are inside for the night i.e. That is so on my Eriba.

The door will close when the lock lever is partially up. Then when you are using the Eriba and opening and closing the door, the lever seems to edge itself upwards, thus causing the door lock to find itself in a middle way, where if you close the door when you are on the outside, it locks and you can no longer get into it. I think it needs a bit of lubricant oil and I will mention this problem on it's next service in July.

@@whereveraway o.k. now I understand. The in between position was not clear to me, because I do not have that situation possible. Greetings from Germany.
