Really remarkable that this was the first time you experienced a theft......better that is occurred without a confrontation. You managed to put it in perspective and not let it alter you feelings about Argentina. I can see why the area would appeal to you as a place to settle. Well Guys,💑 after a year and a half on the road, if you only been robbed once your lucky. I know of KZreadrs who lost all their camera gear and money in a hotel. I don't think Argentina is any worst than the US or other nations. It is just part of the adventure, But don't push your luck. I am amazed how good most people are to travelers. I follow some females who travel alone. God seems to send them angels🧚‍♀🧚‍♀🧚‍♂🧚‍♂ (local people) in their times of need to help them out of bad spots. Scary video title but glad to learn that it was a fairly civilised robbery - as robberies go. Argentina is beautiful but has quite a reputation on the theft front. Hope you have a safe berth for Albo when you head for Antarctica.

Wow, for a theft you came out pretty good and you learned Albo is not theftproof. The scenery is out of this world! I must say, I am pleased to see that where I live is pretty spectacular too. And points North in Canada. The big mountains rising up from the green river valley remind me of Bishop, California. High Sierras on the West with Mt Whitney and the 14,000 ft White Mountains to the East. You bring us the world! And you immerse yourselves into the scenery and go and do!

We can reassure ourselves by saying "he didn't break anything, he only took money..." but we no longer sleep the same way and it's difficult to maintain the same carefree attitude. Sorry you were robbed! Thankfully it wasn't much and your car wasn't torn up and destroyed. But wow Argentina is so beautiful. The lakes and rivers are so blue and the trees and grass so green. The moutains are so pretty. Reminds me of pictures I've seen of new Zealand.

The mountains are amazing. You are right. That is a place where you could live. I noticed at least one low level drone shot. Very cool. It looked so natural most people probably didn't notice, but it was very good. You should do more. Could it follow you when you hike up a trail? As always, your music selection is very fitting. Nick, you are quite the repair guy. Not sure I could fix a fuel pump. I'd probably just carry another, but how many parts can you carry? They could crowd you out and not have room for other things. Maybe carry just the most critical things. I'm thinking of an inner tube in case a tire becomes punctured and it can't be repaired, but you also have a spare, so maybe you don't need that.

we usually pilot it. the follow mode is nice but you can't get it done in areas with too many trees cause it would just stop with the censors. we need to pilot manual. we will try to do more close ups without crashing the drone hahahaha

@@NextMeridianExpedition Cool. The high and long shots are sometimes spectacular, but low and close stimulates my creative juices. I can think up some funny things you might do as well as getting into places you might not be able to go.

Spectactular Argentina, never knew it's so beautiful, just like Switzerland only much larger, I can fully understand that you could move there, guess me too........have fun with the fuel pump seal. 🤞🤞🍀

ooh that s interesting, it takes a lot of our non traveling time but it is alright because we like editing and taking pictures.

Thank you for the wonderful images. Sorry for your mishap. Thieves are most time in a hurry. Maybe it's a good idea to let them find something easily - like 50 or 100 $ - which will satisfy them and avoid that they start breaking up your boxes.

As always, spectacular filming! I’m trying to envision how you take the drone shots while the car is in motion and don’t wind up hitting trees. Wonder what that bird thought of the drone? Hi Heather! If you watched the episode with Tom we actually crashed our drone hitting a tree but it was a first time in 1.5 years that happened. Usually one drives the car and one pilots and we are taking distances to be sure we don’t hit trees. We are in our way back from Antarctica ! Through the drake passage as I write ! Thanks a lot

Ya there’s always at least one person that has to be a problem I’m just glad it wasn’t something serious or harmful too you two! That seal seems to only last a little over a year it seems. I went through a couple myself. That is a really beautiful looking area! I know you hear it a lot but stay safe!

Ah springtime; so green and blue and beautiful. It distracts from the reality that the Argentine landscape is very disrupted by centuries of open-range cattle grazing. An obvious indicator is the shockingly prevalent Scotch broom shrub population--a plant perhaps accidentally imported from the British Isles and now dominant in temperate parts of both Chile and Argentina. It lacks wildlife value--thus reducing habitat for birdlife and indigenous mammals like llama and guanaco. If and when these two countries decide to abate these weedy infestations, it will take multiple human generations to remediate the land--because broom seeds are known to remain viable in the soil for more than 50 years! What native Andean plant species have been preempted by these infestations? What flowers and birds unique to Patagonia will rarely or never be seen by visitors to the region?

you are right they are everywhere. we were told they were used as fences by the brits! it is insane how they took over. our friend we introduce in the previous video, he spent 15 years on his terrain only trying to get rid of these and only start having successful results now.

The lake region of Argentina is paradise, but the country is in a very bad place. Keep your eyes peeled and the can as secure as you can.

You would live in Argentina after they elected the chainsaw guy as president and their inflation is 140%?😀 Visiting Argentina and living there are entirely two different things. I see people traveling through countries who just want to live there because they spent a few days there without knowing all the problems of actually living there long term. Argentina is a great country to visit. Living there? Not so much and the recent socioeconomic problems of Argentina have made it worse. And then they lost their mind and elected another crazy guy without learning anything from their neighbor Brazil and Jair Bolsanaro.
