As a semi reconstructionist hellenic pagan, the Christian aspects of your magic are really interesting to me, as I tend to stray away from it, especially seeing as I was raised agnostic and never had a reason to grow relations with any of that pantheon. Anyway, great video! Love to see you posting

You should check out their other videos! Frankie explains in depth about how you don't have to be christian to work with Saints. I really took much from that video, i think it was about folk magic, hopefully you'll find it. ❤

Thank you! A lot of it is through the Italian American cultural lens, and I find that since my family has relationships with these Saints I tend towards having a relationship with them, as well!

Love focaccia!!! I used to make a big focaccia topped with super-thin sliced Roma tomato, minced garlic, crushed rosemary, olive oil, and kosher salt for Christmas Eve. I called it "grown up pizza" 😂

I love how you mix your practice with christianity. My family is the same but not as well versed as you in the practice. Usually see people who believe/practice one or the other so this is refreshing and reaffirming❤❤

such a great video! I was raised Christian, and I haven't entirely left the church, but I have been embracing the Italian aspect of witchcraft and trying to learn everything I can. I'm also trying to figure out how to do reversals. thank you for showing us your practice ❤

Man. I miss focaccia! Also, I'm loving this format of video. I'm very new to Italian Folk Magic, along with already being a pagan and Left Hand Pather and I'm just observing the Catholic elements with curiosity. I learned that I can't escape those elements that much, but I realized how much it helps with my religious trauma healing journey, especially when I started working with my main saint (who oddly doesn't have too much history with my family that I'm aware of, but there is a church dedicated to him in my Nonni's hometown, but he's still awesome)

What is the divination method you used? I think I heard you call it scopa? Do you have any online resources you could share? I couldn't find anything when I tried looking it up. I'm very intrigued, haha! Great video, too, btw!! It was cool seeing how you incorporate folk magick into your daily life 🙂

if the name is scopa it’s curious because that’s the name of a popular italian card game that you play with friends and family, like briscola and dubito. i’m also curious to know more about it, and see how the names came to be the same 🩵

  • @ChaoticWitchAunt

Yes!! So the cards are scopa, or just Regional italian playing cards. There isn’t really a name for the divination, but you use the cards to divine/ask questions similar to tarot!

@@ChaoticWitchAunt thanks for answering so quickly yesterday. I love watching your stuff cause even though we are not practicing the same way I love how unique and unapologetically you your practice is. I am kemetic in my practice but I love watching other people and their folk or (some) prechristian approaches to their magic. I know u incorporate some Catholic things and that's cool but how you make it yours is what is inspiring to me.

Hi! I’m not sure how to address this comment, since it seems like you just don’t like the video and you didn’t really give me anything to improve on, just told me you already know everything I talked about. If you already know everything I talked about, I recommend seeking out specific videos of mine with the information you seek, responding to any of the polls/posts I put up asking people who watch my channel what kind of video you want to see, or even seeing if something on my other platforms has the certain projects you want to do. If that doesn’t suffice, there are many folk practitioners posting on KZread, Instagram, & more that may have videos you may enjoy more.
