LOL. Sometimes good editing exists just to cover up bad shooting. I think I spend most of my time just fixing mistakes.

Green screen could have been better. But it filled in the gaps. It's hard to tell a story when you don't know what the story is until halfway into the week. Might have been a different story if the dang fog had lifted for one dang day. But, honestly, there are only a few things the fog can mess up on Grand Manan. The sunsets at The Whistle and Southwest Head are epic! But only when you can see the sun set.

I like the vid but since you are editing yourself in, you don't need the foul weather gear. Glad you enjoyed your stay here on our rock. Some years are very foggy like what you experienced. Other years have very little fog. Try your luck again next year.

Ha! I'm there every year, sometimes multiple times. It's one of my favorite places on the planet. I've even led birding tours there. I remember one crossing on the old Grand Manan ferry that was so rough, even the locals were ill. That's when I truly discovered I'm not prone to seasickness.
