10:14 next tine toast and cool spices first. Better flavor!
Just so you know, you can make different versions of ‘papaya’ salad. It doesn’t have to be used with green papaya. You can make it with noodles, cucumbers, green beans, green mangoes, I’ve even made it with cabbage as well.

I second this! No need to be green papayas. You can also make it with corn. I assure you it’s BOMB.

I like to use cucumbers or vermicelli noodles with shredded carrots. I'm not into papaya 😂 BUT you can find green papayas in Asian markets/stores

It can be fruits. Green apple is a good candidate. Mixed fruits, tomato and corn are commonly found in Thai Fruit Somtam. kzread.info/dash/bejne/X2Z_u8qredealZs.htmlsi=lojeGx5Xc1ODprgV
As a Vietnamese, I'm glad that you love our cuisine and give it a try to make it at home. Love from Vietnam
Love your authentic recipes. Your respect and appreciation for other cultures is refreshing. Would love to see you experience the Philippines or Polynesian Islands ❤❤❤ but whatever you've got in store for us is perfect 🥰 recently started watching your videos and plan to stay among for the ride indefinitely 🎉

Yess hopefully I’ll get to explore some more soon! Thank you for watching 🥹
this is so impressive how you make all these dishes, you really have such a gift
love these videos! they’re so chill and refreshing to watch. definitely inspired me to try out some new recipes 😋 looks so good
since you’re making southeast asian foods, if you ever wanna make indonesian food i recommend trying nasi uduk, ketoprak, or opor! those are like comfort meals for me 🫶
I’m so glad you love making and eating Asian food. As an Asian person myself, I can say that Asian food is the best ❤
Hey from someone who has some expeirence making singaporean chicken and hainanese chicken heres a few tips (if you want!): Try cooking chicken at the barest lowest simmer you can, too hot destroys the meat and skin texture. Longer is better in my opinion, and if you can find it try getting a kufei chicken (can usually find that in ranch 99 or some chinese grocery stores) Shock chicken in cold ice water right after making chicken. This tightens the skin and makes it super chewy/satisfying. Also makes sure you dont overcook the meat.
so nice seeing u enjoying Phở and Bún chả so much 🥰also as Vietnamese I approved ur Bún chả and Phở 🤩
I hope you visit the Philippines 🇵🇭 next time. I love the asmr cooking vlogs that you put out. I hope you cook Adobo or Sinigang next time. Keep making great content Logan

I was just sitting here thinking “ I think he should try sinigang” I think he’d like the sourness it has with the fresh veggies and flavor it has mmmm
Everything looked so good. You make it look so simple. You must have a super chill personality, because when I cook it's a mess everywhere and I end up swearing, angry and exhausted.
I love these what I eat/cook in a week videos so much. They’re so relaxing and simple :) I hope your trip was amazing!
I really really recommend you try Vietnamese braised pork belly (aka caramelized pork), it's super savory and goes so well with white rice. There are different variations of if like caramelized pork with tofu or eggs. Hope you'll give it a try
Your videos are pureness personified. The most wholesome.
omg yay a southeast asian cooking video! i was waiting for this🥺will use this for inspo when i cook this week
everytime i watch you make food i go and start making some for myself. your videos are literally therapy for me lmao

The reunion with that shop lady you spoke of just warmed my heart
You will loveee Singapore! It’s a melting pot of cultures and you’ll get to experience and enjoy different cuisines!
Wow, normally i do not write that many comments but i really want to say that i'm a new subscriber and i really do love your content. Just authentic and good vibes. Love it, please share more cultural stuff. Sharing is caring hihi
Just a tip, if you shave the carrots downwards the shaving just falls right off instead of having to take it off each time. Saves time and it’s more efficient
aw, the story of seeing the store-owner lady after years was really wholesome
I love how u have a fresh garden in the back of your house. That's sooo cute!! Btw, love ur cooking too
You can only find green papaya in asian markets and also we use paprika for the pad thai color. Love that your having thai food more. I love when people are truly obsessed with asian food ❤
I have a sister too and so I loved seeing you watch your sister try the cheesy rice 🫶🏻 I started cooking after mine moved to grad school and I always wish I could share the food I cook with her much love and always love your cooking videos!!

CONGRATS ON 500K!! 🥳
I love how passionate you are at cooking just like meee, i hope i get the chance to travel and try different foods and learn about them
It all looked delicious! So cool that you’ve been cooking since you were little. Definitely have to try that pho recipe 😋
For the pad thai, maybe you didn't put enough soy sauce or didn't put it at all since soy sauce can determine it's color. And some pad Thai recipes also put chili sauce for extra soft kick.
Wow and again a video with so much amazing delicious looking food… I am obsessed ❤️😍
the best vietnamese dipping sauce is fish sauce, white vinegar, water, lime, garlic, sugar, red chili's and a pinch of msg/salt if serving on a special occasion :) your welcome! if you want to try with fried foods or pork belly - fish sauce, grated ginger and garlic, salt&msg, very little sugar and lime juice
i love buncha so muchhhhhhhh 😍😍😍
Granny Smith (green) apples are a great sub for papaya in a salad.
😋 all the dishes looked so good 🙌🏽
You are simply AMAZING!! ❤❤❤❤
really hoping you'd visit the Philippines next time too! i'm a culinary student and i would love to accompany you around good coffee shops and restaurants here! :)
Bun cha for breakfast cuz why not? 😂 so glad to see a dish from my hometown popping up first hand in the video!
Surely you have South East Asian aunties in the vicinity who would possibly have a Facebook community or page somewhere that may have an idea of where you could find some green papaya OR maybe they're even growing some! 🤩
yay love these videos and WOULD LOVE to also master a pad thai recipe please make moreee!
It's the way this is just always an instant "like" for me. 🥰
From Vietnam with love!!!❤
Can’t wait to have you in Singapore!! I’m sure you’ll love all our local cuisines here❤❤

It all looks phenomenal
Wow beautiful garden & helpful.., last time i bought lettuce it was $4.25 crazyyyyy. Anything on the grill is delicious!!
Your Soo awesome 😊 and talented to cook that delicious 😋 food..love watching
That's a lot of cooking. Love it! I made sure I have food to eat in front of me while watching this.😅
I love bun cha - you've inspired me to make this. Are you using kaenip instead of shiso leaves?
not at home rn so i'm missing beef pho so much watching your videos, but i've been subtituting it with making chicken pho which to me is quicker and easier for a college student the recipe itself might be lacking but nothing beats nostalgia and some good ol fish sauce lol next time, i'll figure out a hack-ish way to make bánh bèo (very cute dishes of steamed rice mixture and fish sauce-based sauce) but you gotta make do with what you have
When you cook, it's so relaxing😊 like your vlogs - Regards Vienna, Austria
logan!!!! sending lots of love from Malaysia 🫶🏻 it’s literally food heaven too so would love for you to visit here and try the food here !!! we have cuisines from 3 diff races and i’m sure you’ll love it 🩷🩷🩷 keep making videos !!! me and family watches u on TV everytime u post
THAT GARDEN WAS BEAUTIFUL
Try mango papaya salad!!! 😍😍😍 I personally like cherry tomatoes instead of the big ones so I can eat them in smaller bites. Give it a try!
Thank you for your videos inspiring

Yay Logan!!!
omg yes come to Singapore!
Can u share what caused you know and make Vietnamese food when you were younger?
As a Thai I think you have to add Garlic chives ,tofu and eggs in Pad Thai it main ingredients :)
wow im from singapore and the chicken rice u made really looked good despite not having try it before -- hope u can come to singapore to try and see how close it tasted to the og hahaha
I wanna cook with ya. Such a vibe 😌
you should try Bun Bo Hue as well its really good
I hope you try Indonesian food too🇮🇩 based on your favourites, i guess you will like balinese, sundanese, or sulawesi food! But i recommend food from java, sumatera, kalimantan, papua, etc too!
About the papaya salad, couldnt you use green mangos??? Just thinking abt thai seasonings with green mango sounds sooo good
you shld really come to singapore one day!!
that salad looks soooo good
actually the with thing in the bun cha sauce is papaya(a unripe one), not daikon. and i cant see it clearly but just so you know the ingredient for the sauce is just fish sauce, sugar, lime, garlic, chili(optional) and water, nothing more or less. u can adjust it the way you like tho
When u were chopping that lemon grass. You is keeping it real! I love lemongrass and the feel of it when I eat. But now I can't eat it cuz I have a bf from the south. He hates alot of things. And I be gaining weight even though I don't eat much.
What was the red paste you dipped the cucumber in ?
you must come to Singapore!!
Please come to Indonesia, i bet you will try plenty of delicious food 🤩
I like how you actually wash your meat!
The green sauce is supposed to be salty and refreshing! I recommend you add some salt and more green onions next time ❤ from a person eat that once a week lol
What is the honey like thing you always put on?
bun cha is actually good vietnamese food even though it doesnt look hard to make 😋
Pho tai bo vien is my faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaavoriteeeeeeeeee. The best two meats in one bowl, I swear.
Do come to Singapore and eat different cuisines: Chinese, Malay & Indian food!
bro gave the chicken an enema
You should have visited 🇵🇭 as well. I think you’d love our food :)
You're really good at cooking You're so good with knives

Hi! What camera and microphone do you use for your videos?
What dish put you on to Korean food?
Good so good
Can you tell us what got you so into Asian food?
Hi bro, how was the Buncha Dipping sauce? Was it close to the real dish? I recon that's the hardest part of making buncha.
