Wow! This resort looks amazing 😁😁😁😁 We are going to an All Inclusive resort the day after we get married 😁😁 We cant wait!!!!! They also have foam parties, I know Elena and Nico will LOVE that lol Your guys stay looked incredible and the hotel is beautiful and it has so much activities for families ❤❤❤❤And the food looks so good!!! Love the videos of Cayo Largo!! Looks beautiful! We were looking at booking a trip to starfish as a family of four and wondering what you did room wise. We were thinking of booking two rooms as it seems there is only two twin beds per room. Not sure if they had adjoining rooms and if they're accommodating there once you arrive to get two rooms close or adjoining. Thanks:)

Hi! Thank you sooo much for your comment. And for watching the videos! Cayo Largo is just pure beauty. We had taken 2 rooms for a family of 5 and they gave us two rooms almost next to each other. (Not adjoining). They both had 2 DOUBLE beds. Then my older adult daughter decided to join the trip, so she reserved a 3rd room. and my 15-year old wanted to sleep in that room too with her big sister. In the end we were only 2 adults and 2 kids in our room, and didnt use the second room since we had enough space for 4 in the first one. Hope this makes sense haha and not too confusing. So you probably can fit 4 in one room but if the kids are older, then a second room can be useful. Have an amazing vacation, please let us know how it went if you remember to do so when you come back. 😊

Great video and thanks for sharing. Do you by any chance notice if quads were available for rent? In the past I have rented them but am concerned that the fuel shortage means they are unavailable. Thanks again!

Hi, thanks for watching! I did not hear about any quads, only scooters available to rent at the hotel next door (Memories). But I kept contact with some employees at the Starfish so I will ask them today and let you know later.

So my friend says there could be some at the Memories she’s not sure but the Starfish doesn’t have anymore. You have to check at Memories. Hope this helps… 😊

@@globetrottinggang On Sunwing Web site, they have an old video promoting this hotel but under the old name " Sol Pelicano ". An old and very outdated video. Starfish have now many hotels in Cuba. Your video is so good that you should try to trade it for another family vacation. And for all other Starfish Hotels in Cuba, you should approach them. Just a thought. 🤩

@@stevenmaw7491 Yes, they do, the beach was under reconstruction when we went, so they had only a smaller zone with palapas and umbrellas. We will be going to the Starfish on jan 19th....we have not been to Cayo Largo for over 10 years....do you still bring clothes etc for the citizens or just cash for tipping

Yes, please bring anything you can, clothes, Tylenol, school items, toys or we brought powdered milk, juice (tang) even wrapped candies that you leave with your tips is always a treat. There is none in Cuba. Or very little. We gave tips but also brought daily life items. The employees are happy with tips but the problem is it buys them nothing as stores are empty and food and general items are scarce 😢😢

It all depends. I see people tipping 1-3 US dollars per drink and others will give $5 CAD for a couple drinks. Some give more, others give less. Lots of Canadians give loonies and toonies but Cubans have told us they can’t exchange the coins. You can also tip for the day, if you’re at the bar often. It’s difficult to say how much though. At the end of the week we brought our favorite barman a bag for his kids with little Crocs and clothes, coloring books, markers and a few toys. We added little flashlights 🔦 since there’s a power outage almost every day in Cuba. And he was so happy.😊🥹

Hi! Thank you for watching! The turtle activity was on site, at the hotel, and they charged $5 CAD per person (or $3 USD). The other excursions were on a catamaran around Cayo Largo. Please check our channel for our other videos in this serie,we filmed the whole Catamaran Excursion. It was awesome!
