Happy birthday of twenty-three years old. It seems like happy and peaceful days are continuing. The cat's death is a pity, but she may be nineteen years old and may be happy to live longer. I remembered Japanese autumn from ice skating and festival videos. Cherry blossoms finally peaked in Tokyo.

Dear Christy, I'm still so sorry for your loss of Ginger, but glad that you had a nice birthday! 💛 Currently it's my last day in Seoul after a few magnificent days, and I already cried while saying goodbye to my two German friends, who will stay here as exchange students. Me and my bestie watched your video together before going to bed one last time here and it really helped us to calm down. It's really hard to leave such a place, even only after 12 days. Tomorrow is the flight back and I'm thinking about downloading some of your older videos to watch them in the plane. I guess, it would help me a bit to bear all the sadness that the end of such a special trip holds. Thank you and have a wonderful week! ❤️ After returning to Germany I will let you know about everything I experienced here! 😊

@@christy-anne-jones overall there were so many special experiences, but I think I can pick three that inspired me the most. I was able to go to two concerts. The first evening three bands were in the lineup and one of them is my favorite Korean Rock band at the moment and I was so damn happy that I could see those guys live. I could even meet them afterwards and take pictures, that was outstandingly exciting for me as a little, German, foreign fan between all the Korean fans. The second concert was by a band I've been in touch via Instagram for years now and we were all really excited to meet each other in person. They were so nice and humble and I'll never forget this evening either. And as the third experience I pick the Suyeon Mountain Tea Room in Seongbuk-dong. This little tea house was once the residence of Korean writer Sangheo, Lee Taejun. It holds a really special and inspiring atmosphere, I've spent my time there drinking delicious tea and writing some stuff. The two hours felt like traveling back in time and I definitely recommend you this place if you go back to Seoul someday, I'm sure you would love it too! 😊💛 Seoul has me thinking and feeling and reflecting, still. I can understand that some people fall in love with this city and some part of my heart did so too. But I'm still trying to figure my feelings for it out. I'm sure I'll return, maybe even for a longer time. But Seoul is so two-faced and can be overwhelming as well, especially because we stayed in a local neighborhood and in a local apartment of a Korean friend of mine, not at a hotel or BnB. Like this, our experience has been quite pure and realistic right from the beginning, but I think that was good. It was the authentic Korean way of living, which just differs quite a bit from my German way of living. Overall, we didn't have any problems and got along without difficulties. I really enjoyed our time there and in the end I cried while traveling back. :')

Happy birthday! 🎂 It was my birthday on Wednesday. I'm 10 years older than you so to hear you say you feel ancient made me die a little 😂🙈 Living in Japan at 21 feels like 100 years ago and last week. Although I was back in Japan last week so maybe that's why! Brexit has got me thinking I might not be able to go back, but at least they didn't do that on my birthday 😂

27otherside27 We're a small open economy and we do not take well to basically anything lol. When the Brexit vote was passed initially, our dollar did so badly for a while. Plus, it doesn't help that we change Prime Ministers SO OFTEN (bc political instability = weak currency). There was a time when you could feasibly online shop from Australia but not anymore 😭 I'm sorry that all of you are going through this! I have English heritage, and I wish I could have voted

this is random but if you like fantasy novels then i highly recommend the book “dragon slippers” by jessica day george. it looks like a children’s novel but it’s really good ^.^, also happy birthday!!
