Very nice place to stay,extensive breakfast,only downside….cant swim at front of resort.

Yes the beach is shallow, we walked a bit further down and had good swim. 😀

Others have stated that it's hard and expensive to get a Grab ride on the island. it's easier to use the red trucks.

Our experience was grab was easy to use. Just carry cash. We only seen the red trucks in the popular places.

Just to add, its probably more difficult to get a Grab if you are on the remote parts of the island which is why we rented a vehicle, however if you are around Chaweng, Maenam or Fishermans village you should be able to find one to get around. Red trucks are available in the popular areas as well, but they dont take you very far. There are plenty of transport options and friendly people willing to assist. :) Hope it helps
