What did we use to book our trip? cheapcarribean.com (not sponsored, I WISH haha)
When did we book? In late 2019 and it was meant for a trip in 2020 but we rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
How do you get taxis? Taxis can be called upon talking to the hotel staffs, usually at the hotel lobby. You can request one or make an appointment to when you want the taxi to come and it’s safer to go through the hotel staffs than getting your own taxi to avoid scams.
If you're unsure on how much the taxi ride should cost, ask your hotel staffs to avoid over paying and over tipping.
Hotel and airport transportation? Airport and hotel round trip transportation along with the excursions was booked with Amstar (Amstar also works with cheapcarribean.com) (all inclusive resort fee was paid separately).
What's included in all inclusive resorts? Realistically, it's all the food (through the hotel restaurants and room service) and drinks (you can drink FREE at the hotel bars too! just remember to tip if you're drinking a lot) that's offered at the hotel that you're booked with. Most hotel resorts do NOT have free excursions unless noted otherwise, you must check with your resort.

Nice video! Is there more entertainment for the young adults, like a club on the party?
How did you book excursions? Also did you have to call taxis to take you to each excursion or were they provided by the resort?

Yes the hotel that we booked with was all inclusive (not including airport and hotel transportation)
Going there next month, was the seaweed pretty bad?

There was enough seaweed floating at the beach and in the sand but it wasn’t unbearable to be around.
Thanks for this informative video. We are staying there next week, arriving June 21st. Can you tell me, was it mandatory to wear a mask everywhere in the resort?

Yes we were required to wear masks while in the resort (but most people had it off in the beach and pool area) when we went there in April 2021. It might be different now so you can ask the hotel staffs. :)

Was the sushi included with the all inclusive ?

Yes! As long as the restaurants are located inside/in your hotel resort area! Free alcohol too in the pool bars/hotel bars!!! But remember to tip because that’s majorly how the employees make their money at these Cancun hotel resorts.
were all the activities you did inclusive with the resort?

Activities were not included at this resort and was booked with amstar. You can book through them or buy excursions through other people (but I wouldn’t because of the potential of getting scammed). It’ll cost more with an agency but at least you know it’s legit and that they won’t take you somewhere else other than what’s listed on your tour.
The trip looks great! I made a reservation for this resort. Were the drinks good? Were rooms clean ? And lastly how was the food? Breakfast had omelette station? I look forward to this trip

Drinks were good, alcohol level just depends on what you order and you can always go for shots instead of mixed drinks. The food tasted the best at the luxury restaurants and mediocre at the most for the other places. They do have a omelette station during breakfast and there was not many choices when it came to desserts. FYI we always wore our masks (as it was required during that time) when we were with people and public areas. The only time we took it off was in the beach or swimming areas/physical activity. I don’t know if masks are still required in Cancun right now but always check with your hotel resort and do your research. Have a safe and fun trip!

There should be a amstar (tour company) representative at your hotel where you can make or confirm your tours. 👍 you have to book them yourselves as the drivers will ask you for your booking receipt.

We didn’t go to any nightclubs! But I’m guessing they weren’t fully operating when we went.
How was the food there?

The resort buffet was mediocre. But the hotel fine dining restaurants were very good. We didn’t get to eat much outside of the resort but when we did it was mediocre as well. If you do eat outside of your hotel, it’ll depend on the spot.

@@above_beyond6648 like most of the food we had was lacking flavors and seasoning maybe because it’s toned down for tourists. You prob need to go where locals eat to get more authentic Mexican food and flavors. There’s a lot of variety when it came to food.

@@above_beyond6648 I can’t really say because I’ve been there only once. Probably depends on what you want to do then you can figure out the right location for your trip. Next time I’m definitely staying somewhere in the mid of the hotel strip.

I don’t remember the prices right off the bat but you can always check the current tour prices on their websites. I’m not sure it cost the same when I went as inflation is on the rise. It depends on what you’re doing and where you’re going so make sure to read what’s included in the tour.
