Love the character development Nolan getting compared to the comic, they’re really giving the start of his redemption arc justice. Especially how he’s showing empathy for weaker races and remorse for the carnage he caused to earth. Also I’m glad Mark is getting better at fighting cuz he’s gonna need it when he goes against Levy and another Viltrumite I’m sure other comic readers know who I’m talking about

Bro, let Kirkman cook. About thrags... he's probably season finale villain of SEASON 3, or maybe season 4 if they pace it out well enough. He's one of the main antagonist of the INVINCIBLE COMIC as a whole. Not the only one tho.

Angstrom is gonna be the antagonist for the rest of the season. The black and blue suit won’t come til season 3 most likely, but yea it’s almost like the symbiote suit for Spider-Man (except it’s just clothes), mark increasingly gets darker and more violent/aggressive with the suit on. Thragg prolly won’t come until maybe season 4 or the end of 3.

The blue and black suit represents an Invincible that wants nothing to do with Cecil. Fully independent The viltrumite you talked about was Thragg. He the big bad of everything.

Omni man is the 3/4 Strongest Viltrumate in the Whole empire. He's really strong, number 2/3 isn't that stronger than he is. So yea, he's a Complete Powerhouse.

I wouldn’t say rushed, for most of the series he hasn’t been that good in combat.

If they follow the comics mark is far from being a strong and skilled Viltrumite in this part, what is understandable, as he is too young and not trained in combat. But they already changed that and made Mark way stronger compared to the comics in this fight, so I think they thought a protagonist getting suddenly op, from nothing, is better for the views. You could argue it was his emotions and maybe an adrenaline, even so it doesn't justify. This make things too easy and boring for him already being able to fight this well against viltrumites way older and experienced in combat. Thula, for exemple was supposed to be way better than this. In the comics at least he goes through hell and takes a lot of time to build his might. It feels kinda rushed for now, but its soon to say, lets see.

Mark’s progression I wouldn’t say is rushed, considering for most of the series he really hasn’t been that good of a combatant. What Omni man told him this episode during the fight made sense.
