Does the child get to keep the wand or are their adults then expected to buy it??

​@gameoftomes14 they should flat out let you keep it do it kind of like building a lightsaber pay for the full experience (which to be honest was worth it cuz I built mine) then after keep the wand that "chooses" you include it in the payment if you will

i believe it is a gift years ago i went there on a business trip. i had a scrunchy hair tie with me, the small one that could fit over four of my fingers. I was in line and a young girl maybe 7 or 8 was with her parents, she was in a hogwarts costume and had a wand. I asked her was she a witch. she said yes. with the hair band i did a bit of street magic when her wand touched the hair band. each time it got harder and harder. she was a powerful witch and very cute. I stood up and whispered to the parent when she goes in to the sorting room, take her wand and have her in the front and and when asked who needs a wand to step forward and sa i need a wand sir and flash those cute dimples. She got chossen, a wand picked her and the parents filmed her. they said they could not afford another wand, my reply they will make it right. They did

I've noticed in these videos that it's always a _girl_ thats chosen; I've never a boy chosen.

I’ve only ever seen boys chosen when I’m there in person, but I think both examples are just anomalies.
