I moved to Florida from Baltimore back in 1987. Fells Point has changed sooooooooooooo much since I saw it last. Awesome place with the shops and eateries. Thanks so much for sharing your video. Brought back memories. Great job. Don Hooper Ocala, FL

Interesting. I have been seeing videos about Baltimore's hoods. Noticeable differences, like the color of the people, the amount of street garbage, the quality of the pavement.

True. Things are very different in different areas of Baltimore. I’ve visited several.

Back in the early 1970s, I would go there with my student buddies. Back then it was just warehouses and bars that catered to dock workers and seamen. Actually it was pretty safe because nobody was there! The beer was cheap and the docks were right there. Usually there was a tug or other ocean/bay worthy vessel tied up. Now it is a trendy place with lots of shops and expensive places. The square that you see in this video was not there. It was just a large open street area.

Enjoy your water taxi ride, just keep in mind that the Baltimore City raw waste water is being dumped directly into the bay.

I personally know 2 people that were murdered in Fells Point in the last 8 months. Crime is a daily occurrence, especially during the day. Nobody goes down there anymore.

Really sorry to hear that. Hopefully that will change. We only did a day trip.
