Doesn't it also mean "contriving" or someone who handles/manages a situation in Arabic? That's the impression I get from the video and lyrics as well where they use their "skills" to deal with the men and their situation

Mona Möller *I know they both almost sound alike. The word you’re talking about is “Mudabirah” which mean “contriving” or “improviser” for a female. But the word they used here is “mudbira” which I think is only unique to Yemenite colloquial meaning “miserable” or “unhappy” for a female.*

Wow. You know, I've never been to Yemen. But I grew up in Saudi Arabia for 18 years, over the border. I'm a westerner. This music has enough western influences to not seem alien to me, and enough Arabian influences to transport me home. A-Wa music is very emotional for me. I'm so grateful for their existence. Especially the lyrics of this song, they speak to me.

@@jdynamoclick3368 - No you are wrong. Check your English sources and the general use of the suffix -ite, which is used to designate the diminutive or inferior. The proper neutral term is Yemeni. Also given the vicious history of discrimination by the Ashkenazi Zionists towards the Yemeni Jews, it is quite clear why they use and prefer the insulting "Yemenite." You will see that all uses of "Yemenite" is by Zionists, whereas the English-speaking world uses, Yemeni. Go check yourself.

LOL! Unbelievable. The sad part is they're not even allowed to get in there cause they are Israelis, and even if they would - they'll probably get killed- either because they're Jewish or because of they're women. (The worst part btw is that the last group of Jewish people in Yemen is stuck there because they wouldn't let them leave!) They know perfectly well where they belong, and this "Yemen culture" that he talks about is actually a Jewish-Yemeni culture. It's part of their Jewish tradition.
