Woody, I'm from nearby in NC originally and my family on my mother's side is from Rocky Mount. I have spent many hours in this region. My wife and I visit the Country Store in Floyd whenever we're up your way from Georgia and we eat at the Blue Ridge Cafe around the corner. Great tribute to the music and culture of the Crooked Road in Virginia. Great video.

We visit from the uk every year to the region and this is a must of you want to get local! This is just an awesome venue and is a must go for any real mountain music/bluegrass fan, long may you prosper.

It's so gentrified now. :-( I guess I shouldn't judge it until I get to come back to Floyd. I have some evry fond memories of the times I have spent at the Country Store.
