Some of my relatives go to this place regularly, and of course, they love it and rave about it. I haven't yet been, but I'm planning a trip for this summer. Four-hour drive mostly through the Piedmont section of Virginia--How bad could it be? Can't wait!

Coming across this video has made my day. Kudos to Sammy Shelor and the Floyd Country Store for putting this together. Allen & Gene Parkers ensemble of the Lost & Found help bring me full circle back to bluegrass years ago. Never forget the first time I heard "Wild Mountain Flowers for Mary" - got tears in my eyes. Plus, we wouldn't have "Love of the Mountains" 'cept for Allen. Put Allen and Gene with the talent of Sammy & the best young mando player in the business, Jesse Smathers. Thanks so much for posting this. I'll be back often!
