Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Hello Friends, We just returned from a visit to Charleston, SC where we shopped, ate delicious food, went sightseeing and of course took a carriage ride. I videoed a few snippets of our trip and thought you might want take a peek. If you have never visited Charleston you might want to consider a getaway to the “Holy City” were you can see magnificent homes, churches, architecture and gardens.
I hope you enjoy the video.#charlestongetaway#spring2023#charlestonsc#funtravels2023

Susan, this gave me a Charleston fix until I can get back. My soul just comes alive in Chaleston. I love the carriage rides and touring all the homes. I have some Charleston art, too. It was so fun seeing what you purchased. My parents went to Charleston on their honeymoon, and they stayed at Folly Beach.

We love going up there for long weekends - our favorite hotel is the Mills House on Meeting St. at Queen St. I love shopping at the Market! I always buy some of the handmade sweet grass baskets - I admire the skill and patience it takes to make them. One autumn we were in Charleston and took the boat ride to Ft. Hey Deb, the flood water receded by the following morning. As I was reading “Glimpses of Charleston” I found out the author has a FB page titled the same as the book. I learned he is very accomplished. He is the founder of a Historic Homes Restoration foundation and lives in downtown Charleston. Meeting him was one of those unexpected thrills. There is just never enough time to see it all when we are in Charleston, I told Dan we need to go back next Spring so I can continue to work on my bucket list. We don’t have any plans to go to Savannah any time soon but maybe Brenda and I can wrangle a trip to Tybee Island (just outside of Savannah). I can definitely do a Williamsburg trip but probably in the Fall when it is cooler. I am so glad you enjoyed the video, I know it is not everyone’s cup of tea but I thought I would put it out there anyway. I hope you are having a “beachy” weekend!
