I searched online and the line, "A view to a kill," makes sense now. It uses foxhunting lingo because Ian Fleming wrote a short story called From a View to a Kill which was based on a song lyric about fox hunting. "From a find to a check, from a check to a view, from a view to a kill in the morning." A Find is discovering the fox's trail, a Check is when you lose the trail with your bloodhounds, a View is visually spotting the fox, and a Kill is self-explanatory. SO, when Mayday and Walken are in the airship looking at the bay area, and Mayday says, "What a view," Walken is being clever by adding, "To a kill." Walken has spotted the fox which is Silicon Valley and he intends to Kill it, or in this case destroy it by flooding the area. So it's super fucking convoluted but it does actually make sense lol

6:48 they say the band is playing a slow version of the AVTAK theme, I don’t get it
i only remember the theme song
If the soul purpose of A View To Kill was the skit where Walkens trying to get the German to change his name then that sits fine with me 😂
Wow I didn’t think a Walken impersonation would get me to laugh to hard I almost threw up, in the year 2023 😂

Review every Christopher Walken movie!
this should be in the austin powers series
More. Bond. Reviews!
A popular trope in the 80's was the saying "REAL MEN DON'T EAT QUISHE" as it was deemed poncy and effeminate - the joke is that 007 is ALL MAN therefore would eat one - but call it an omelet - you guys are just too young to get it.
Wooo!
Maybe don’t mention the cloning thing
Keep an eye on that! Lol
Hilarious

Not sure I'd want Gordon Brown flying the helicopter 😬
Hold on, let me just boot up cfax! Lol
Funny shit
Never forget that Max Zorin was the prototype for Elon Musk

6:43 - I'd say it's more Terry Wogan, but sure. "Orange Man Bad" and all that.

I'm convinced that this was recorded before the Trump administration. No need to be sour either way.

I'll have to apologize to you. I have now listened to just about every Smershpod-podcast and John Rain has an absolute Trump-fetish. He can't go a single podcast without uttering his name, even when it seems rather left field.

@@Bale4Bond That's true, but I'm also genuine. If you pause at that part, he's the spitting image of Terry Wogan. But yeah, John Rain's got Trump living rent-free in his noggin. What a shame.

You guys think you understand microchips? 😂
Alaska is right next to Siberia, why would it take FIVE DAYS to get there??? Maybe two hours if you go slowly. The script writers are stoned and too lazy to look it up.
View to a kill title doesn’t make any sense this movie should’ve been called view for a kill
What age are you two?
